This hoppy (99 IBUs) American IPA will strike you with a jolt. It is a full bodied beer brewed with British pale and crystal malts; heavily hopped with Chinook, Cascade, Columbus and Centennial.

Local brew for tasting tonight! Very attractive bottle pour. Tan, pillowy head. Deep, copper color with a hint of haze. Fairly mild aromas of citrus fruits, spring pine and bakery. Not overly IPAish in the tastes, very refreshing on a hot, spring evening. Extremely well balanced in the hops to malt ratios, very drinkable. Washes down very nicely, nothing to complain about in the finish, just smooth and tasty. Will certainly be buying some more of this for summer! A nice foray into the IPA genre again. Looking forward to visiting this local brewery.

Cloudy dark copper with a giant off-white foamy head, giving off an amazing perfumey sweet tropical nose with papaya and passion fruit and leafy earthy american hops, but also a bit caramalty backbone. Big juicy and slightly delightfully citrus and acidic fruit nose. Full and robust flavor with a sticky toffee undertone with a brash and bold citrus and grapefruity hop, with plenty of herbal tones, papaya, mango, and more nutty toffee. Nice sharp citrus hoppy acidity that brings a nearly tropical pop to the flavor. Unfortunately it ends with a touch of this peanuttiness that I’m not fond us but otherwise a great IPA.

12 oz bottle. Amber with an average off-white head. Aroma is of styrofoam, toffee, cooked pineapple, rubbing alcohol, light perfume. Taste is of stewed veggies, grass, leaves, moss, caramel.

Bottle. The look is clear, copper bright, beige colored head. The smell is bad, styrofoam, cardboard, just bad. The taste is the same with old hops and leaves.

Aroma hits you in the face, but not in a good way. Looks nice pours with a decent head. This beer is overhopped and is not balanced in the flavor. Bitterness sticks with you long after drinking. I could use a chaser to wash it away. I could not finish the bottle

Garbage. Zero hop aroma for flavor... Malt taste was flat and the only thing that came through was bitterness. Low carbonation. No thanks.

Not much to it. It is hoppy upfront with a clear clean finish. I never got any strong flavors from it. Dull and pretty forgettable in my mind

UPDATED: MAY 29, 2013 Very dark ruby brown pour. Medium off white head with good lacing. Very interesting aroma. Hops are very dank and earthy with a hint of citrus. Bready, toasty, toffee aroma. Full body. Flavor is very similar to aroma. Dank earthiness dominates hop flavor. The middle of the tongue starts to pick up medium caramel sweetness. Finish is fairly bitter. Do not like the yeast they used. Tastes a little like an old English style ale. ---Rated via iPhone

UPDATED: DEC 28, 2014 Dark copper-amber with an off-white head. Aroma of pine, citrus, caramel, and sweet fruit. The taste is lightly sweet and bitter; kind of mild all around. medium bodied. Decent.
