16 ounce pint - $5.25 at Taco Mac in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Served up a near clear, clean copper body with a thin, white head, albeit from a generous pour.
Smell: Understated scent of sparingly toasted barley with hints of bread and biscuits rounded out be even lighter notes of caramel, citrus, and spice.
Taste: A toasty mixture of grainy bread and biscuit tops with a lightly sweet touch of caramel (though a bit more as it warms). Six carefully administered drops of apple juice. A light dose of earthy, spicy hops providing a small hint of citrus and a restrained level of balancing bitterness. Drying finish that’s quite crisp.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium-plus carbonation.
Drinkability: A balanced, easily drinkable beer with an approachability beyond reproach. thedm (6309) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - JAN 3, 2012
Large foamy fine to medium sized long lasting bubbles that leave behind a transparent softly carbonTed body. The from is clean ms malty dough one. The pLate is crisp and clean with malty backing and a mild dough hop flaVor. Well balanced and quaffable. heemer77 (5360) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - MAY 30, 2012
Deep orange amber colored brew with a thick khaki head. The nose is fairly rich with grain and some caramel. There is also some sweet potatoes. Earthy tones and tobacco come through. The taste is bitter bread crust and a little bit of grass. It finishes with some grapefruit rinds and a note of raw potato. This is very tasty stuff, a nice hoppy lighter lager style. Poured from bottle. Nice aroma of roasted malt and brown sugar. Solid amber, thin tan head. Caramel and nut in flavor. Creamy feel. A touch of hops in the aftertaste. Nice stuff. nearbeer (5559) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 3, 2010
12 oz. Nice looking clear amber with a lasting quarter inch of foam. Sweet nose of fresh-cracked cereal grains and molasses. Flavor follows with just enough tart apple and dried grass to finish almost crisply. Near-medium body is balanced well, and lightly astringent making for a nice sessionable lager.

Bottle has great crackery and biscuity character, light caramel and heavy toast, and some mild spice akin to rye contributions, with thick cloud of malt, some dough, faint citrus. Pours clear golden with light orange leanings and a sudsy off-white head. Taste clean, doughy and malty, toasty with wooden undertones that last long into the finish, along with lasting light bitterness and relative dryness. Some more biscuit, very faint citrus, and the hops are concentrating more on an earthy, mildly herbal contribution. Smooth, creamy and lightly crisp medium body, clean. This has a a woodsy, natural character about it, and just a dynamite collection of flavors in good balance. RSRIZZO (2020) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - NOV 8, 2009
Had at the All Colorado Beer Festival in Colorado Springs on 11/7/09. Color is golden with good carbonation and a thick tight head. Aroma is a nutty roasted malt scent. Starting with a lighter medium body it goes down with a smooth crisp feel. Finish comes in rich with a sweet malt flavor then a touch of hop flavor and an even bitterness. This is a very good Amber Lager with well balanced flavors. shamsway (13) - - JAN 31, 2012
Bottle to pint glass. Pours tan with a modest off white head. Aroma of malt and caramel. Taste is very much the same plus some light hop notes and a faint bitter aftertaste. Fairly fizzy with a light mouthfeel.

Bottle split with scottyp at woody’s. Clear amber pour with decent tan head. Nose is semi sweet. The flavor is a little toasty and semi dry finish. As far as ambers go, this is pretty good.
