A celebration of craft beans, craft brews, collaboration and innovation resulted in this rare and enticing brew. Together FCB and Jackie’s Java carefully cupped, sniffed, roasted and brewed three distinct varieties of coffee that resulted in an amber ale playfully infused with bold coffee notes.

22 fl oz bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is dry and herbal. Medium sweet malty flavoured. Light roasted. Subdued fruity hops note into a mild malty sweet finish.

Bomber poured a clear amber with a lingering ring of amber foam. Aromas of coffee, carmel and hints of cocoa and vanilla. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of coffee, carmel and light cocoa with a crisp lingering coffee finish.

Bottle. Poured a clear dark amber color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting and had good lacing. Moderate toasted malt & coffee aroma. Aroma is heavy malt (cookie, caramel, cereal, coffee), light hop (herbs), average yeast (dough, earth) with notes of plum and brown sugar. Medium bodied, slick texture, average carbonation, and a chalky finish. Average duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness.
