3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
I was expecting a wheat beer based on the bottle description but I think it was more like a pilsner. It has a good amount of carbonation and some hops mixed in with the fruit flavoring. A good summer session beer IMO.

Poured from 12oz bottle a clear light gold with a huge head of foam that actually grew after pouring and almost overflowed. Half way through the session and on, I had about a 1/2" layer but it was still "billowy".
The smell is a very sweet fruity nose. Not ever having tasted a pomegranate, I can't say it smells like that but..it's nice.
The taste is of wheat and what I presume to be pomegranate. It's an interesting flavour for sure; a mix of sweet and bitter that, imho, makes for good drinkability, especially in the hot weather we've been having in Casper.(today it's 94F, yesterday it was ~107!)
Bottom line: An unusual, and good, enough taste to visit again and...the label is really cool looking.
Good tart aroma. You can actually smell the pomegranate. Hazy orange color with a big bright white head. The taste is also slightly tart with some crisp hops and a peppery sweet finish. Kind of a funky aftertaste but good slick palate. FCB gets panned on RB, but this is one of their offerings that I like.

Not too sweet or too fruity which is okay for me not being huge into fruit beers. Is fairly refreshing. HuskerTan (2403) - Ravenna, Nebraska, USA - NOV 11, 2016
Bottle. A- Subtle pomegranate, wheat, subtle citrus. A- Golden orange color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Alcohol, subtle wheat, subtle citrus. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, hot slightly tart finish. O- Ick. The label was the only thing I ended up enjoying about this beer. Pomegranate is non existent other than a tinge on the nose. The mouthfeel and taste is just alcohol burn. Lacks any sort of flavor at all. This was the 2015 version from a backlog rating, at least the bottle artwork was cool then. bu11zeye (13239) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - AUG 18, 2016
(Draught) Pours a clear yellow body with a medium white head. Aroma of grass, lime, pomegranate, and grain. Flavor of grain, grass, light fruit, and dough.

3.0 A: Lightly hazed medium orange color. A little over one fingers of frothy white head. Retention is below average and some irregular lacing is left.
3.0 S: The pomegranate is actually pretty strong in this. It overshadows the rest of the beer in the nose. It gives a sourish tanginess to it. Otherwise, some neutral wheat and not much else.
3.0 T: Tastes like pomegranate juice in a not too great wheat beer, which I guess is what it is. Pomegranate, some wheat, and maybe a hint of spice. Underwhelming.
3.5 M: Lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Lightly creamy and smooth enough.
3.0 D: It’s okay, but too many better options to buy again.

Drank from a twelve ounce bottle. Has aroma of pomegranates. Has beautiful refreshing crisp, fruity, pomegranate taste, not overpowering. Another good brew by FCB!! dfinney23 (3424) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUL 25, 2015
Nicely restrained pomegranate but the underlying wheat ale is nothing to write home about. Dinging an extra point for the ridiculous "most unique beer ever brewed" line in the description, considering this wasn’t even the most unique beer I sampled that day. Admittedly, this is probably through little fault of its own, but I didn’t like Major Tom’s Pomegranate Wheat all that much. It just didn’t give me enough. Not enough head. (Wow, that sounds bad. Ah well, I’m going with it.) Not enough pomegranate. Not enough wheat. I enjoyed trying it for the novelty, but that’s about it. Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - APR 27, 2015
This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving messy foamy and bubbly lacing.
The smell had a sweet to sour to tart pomegranate and a little bit of honey on the back end as it warms.
The taste was sour and sweet through the fruit and the wheat combination.
A light sweet pomegranate aftertaste leads into a wet finish.
On the palate, this one sat pretty light on the body with the wheat seeming to be lacking a bit.
Overall, I say this was a decent fruit beer. Fort Collins probably could have used a bit more wheat to make a slight heavier body, unless they were trying to make a super sessionable fruit beer. I might have again depending upon what else is served.
