12 oz pour from refrigerated bottle into shaker pint. Golden, mostly clear, weak white head. Medium body. Nose is a little malty, a little piney, and a hint of a caramel. Taste is caramel malt, citrus, and a strikingly bitter aftertaste. ordybill (1815) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - MAY 2, 2015
Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a pint glass.
Aroma- Big hop and grass aroma
Appearance- A cloudy orange/gold color with a small white head.
Taste- Has a malt and bread flavor that is followed by a big hop finish.
Palate- A medium bodied beer with moderate carbonation.
Overall- A real good beer, try it. GarrettB (1639) - San Diego, California, USA - APR 30, 2015
August 12th, 2013 - Fort Collins’ Rocky Mountain IPA looks like an angry volcano cross-section from a science book after the pour, with a perfectly clear, cinnamon colored body and a huge, spewing, foaming head the color of an angry blush. The smell is sweeter and gentler, ripe with strawberries and apple jam, and the slightest suggestion of cranberry, too. The flavor is hoppy, of course, but with a good moderation. The foretaste relaxes to reveal sweeter notes, though these hold hands with the bitter hops - sweet and hoppy, and a long aftertaste. This is very enjoyable, one long sip after another. Do they still manufacture it? DocJitsu (2025) - Pensacola, Florida, USA - APR 2, 2015
Pours a clear golden with a sticky white head. Light notes of oak and medicine. Soft, full mouth feel. Malty, nutty, and hoppy flavors. ScipioA (405) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - FEB 28, 2015
Hazy copper pour with a giant tan pillowy head. Fruity and malty aroma, a bit of pine too. Flavor is a little more interesting with floral notes joining in. Thick, foamy and sticky mouthfeel. Nearly identical to every other region’s local popular IPA, good but not worth another try.

Average malty and hoppy ipa. Quality is bleh and it is not very balanced. Slight citrus flavor. Malty and bitter finish. Pours cloudy orange with a thick white head. Okay beer

Twelve ounce bottle from Fort Collins sampler 12 pack purchased at The Party Source. Hazy amber hue, nice firm bittersweet fruity/piney/citrus nose, flavor much like the aroma. A bit more sweetness and a tad less bitterness than I recall from drinking it previously but still a quite good beer. Tasted on July 25, 2014. gdubu493 (60) - New Jersey, USA - JAN 15, 2015
Aroma: Floral, grapefruit, orange, malty, sweet.
Appearance: Opaque, cloudy orange. Darker than most IPAs. Thick, creamy, egg shell colored, two-finger head that disappeared quickly. Thin, to no lacing.
Taste: Bitter hops, floral. Citrus notes disappear on the tongue. Grapefruit lingers.
Palate: Flat. More bitter than dry.
Overall: I poured this 12 oz. bottle into a glass in which I like to drink beer. The taste does not live up to the promise of its aroma. RateBeer member BigDaddyBlues probably summed it up best, "Solid. Not one I would look for again but if I saw it for the right price, I would buy." #respectbeerbrethren. I would add though, I would love to drink this on tap. boxofrane (2553) - Spring City, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 2, 2015
Gifted bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. The aroma is clean with some grapefruit, orange, lightly floral. The taste has a lot of grapefruit, medium bitterness. Not bad but forgettable.
