Bottle. Pours a clear copper body under a one finger frothy off-white head. The aroma is decently hoppy with some nice floral and citrus notes over a slightly too-sweet smelling caramel malt base. The flavor is fairly bitter up front, but the finish is dominated by sweet caramel and crystal malt, leaving a lingering sweetness that isn’t what I want from an IPA. There’s no real flaws, just a personal preference type of thing. Light to medium bodied with a slight clinginess to the back end and moderate fizzy carbonation. Not a big fan of this one. foyle (424) - Wyoming, USA - MAY 23, 2014
Poured from 12 oz bottle into schooner glass.
Appearance: a 1" bubbly off white head dies away quickly with some moderate lacing. Color is a quite hazy orange-copper with a bit of sediment in suspension.
Aroma: sweet orange, grapefruit, and nice malty backbone.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied, frothy, and quite sticky with a fairly dry finish.
Flavor: Sweet orange, grapefruit dominate with some caramel and whole wheat bread flavor. There is a strong lingering grapefruit/citrus rind bitterness in the finish.
Overall: very good ipa. sfontain (851) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAY 10, 2014
12 oz bottle, Kroger Bridge St. Decent looking, medium brown with a froofy white head, becoming a decent ring plus sparse covering; solid lacing. Aroma is on the darker side of IPA’s: apple, darker sweetness, earthier, grapefruit. Flavor similar, adding toffee; finish borders on too sharp but isn’t quite. Medium body, a little on the flat side but not too bad; medium sticky. Overall, surprisingly good. Easy enough to drink, and would be great with Italian food imo. GaperNed (11) - - APR 28, 2014
Pours on the darker side for an IPA. Very floral aroma and a nice hoppy flavor. Not so much of a citrus flavor but finishes nice and smooth teddybeer (3891) - Madrid, SPAIN - APR 8, 2014
[Thanks to Plovmand]. Hazy orangish colour with a frothy and creamy off-white head with good retention. Aroma has notes of pine, resins and light caramel. Flavor is strong bittery with orange and light citrus notes, moderate malty with slightly caramel. Strong bittery final with a dry mouthfeel.

Bottle. Pours a hazy copper color with a low, lacing head. Subtle hoppy aroma with a light tangy finish. Light hoppy taste with a nice dry finish. Some tart. Not a bad IPA. Could be a bit cleaner. EHSRanders (2076) - Tjele, DENMARK - MAR 21, 2014
Bottle. Hazy amber orange colour with medium creamy white mostly lasting head. Hoppy aroma. Bitter flavor. Oily palate. MarkBarnes (418) - Waterville, New York, USA - MAR 20, 2014
Mar. 20, 2014. 12 oz btl. Dark filtered pour. Ample head. Nicely balanced & chewy. Slightly fizzy. Sweet. JFGrind (2057) - Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 18, 2014
Floral aroma, thin head and light bodied IPA. Sticky bitterness and grain disconnect with my palate. I’ll agree with the description, Fort Collins needs to familiarize itself with brewing IPA’s. BigDaddyBlues (48) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - FEB 16, 2014
This is not a great IPA. It is a pretty good IPA. Good nose right out of the bottle. Piney and citrusy. Pretty mild but still there. Gorgeous color. A nice deep orange. Taste is solid IPA all the way. That is how I would describe this IPA. Solid. Not one I would look for again but if I saw it for the right price, I would buy.
