We ventured into unfamiliar territory to create an IPA to fit our style. An intense floral nose, firm balanced flavor and long hoppy finish make Rocky Mountain IPA our very own.

Rating 1090, kinda surprised to see this one on the shelves at the Macklind Ave Deli here in St Louis. But gave it a shot anyways. Dark copper with medium lacing that was short lasting. Nose kind of faint but when present was pleasant. Dry and thin. Overall pleasant. Would be interested in trying more of their stuff.

Fint IPA humlet, dog en anelse syrlig i eftersmagen. Det passer ikke helt slagsen

Bill Becker (2012) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - OCT 27, 2017
From Sep 2007 This pours from 12oz bottle a clear gold with lots of bubbles and a huge billowy head of foam with lots of lacing. The smell is hoppy with big grapefruit and floral notes The taste has loads of floral hops up front with a very good malty flavour lingering in the background. At times, the hops impart a really bitter flavour, at other times the malt somewhat balances out the hops..strange. Strange but very tasty. It finishes bitter, the mouthfeel is light and the carbo, well, it's less noticeable in the taste than I expected. Must be the Sam Adams glass working its magic on the initial pour. ;^) I'm close to finishing my glass and all the flavours seemed to have mellowed some but in a good way. Pretty drinkable and certainly a better IPA than some I've tried. Note to self: Get a Growler next time I'm in Ft Collins. The draft version is better on all counts.

This bottle was a good three or four months old when I drank it, but **** it was an unmitigated disaster. It had NO IPA characteristics - it was like a bad nut brown ale. Like somebody left a New Glarus Fat Squirrel in the sun and then spit some chew after drinking pink lemonade. Not a fan at all.

kevinator (2867) - The Colony, Texas, USA - NOV 5, 2015
Pretty average for a competitive category. Aromas and Flavors are floral with a slight bitterness that lasts. Good balance with a medium weight but not very attractive. Too light.

Pours a hazed light brown orange.Yeast sediment. Aromas of overripe fruits, sweet caramel/ toffee, bready/ yeasty, some spices. Haven’t had this in a long time. Seems on the aged side. Decent OK IPA.

Medium amber in color with a whitish head that faded quickly. Floral hops, citrus zest, and a slight malt base. The finish is odd and ends hastily. Not bad, not a standout.

guzzler67 (1696) - Hanover, Maryland, USA - SEP 3, 2015
Amber appearance with a large, off white head and good lacing. Aroma of toasted malts and floral hops. Caramel malts add modest sweetness to the taste. More malt balance than overt hop bitterness, thinking here of an English pale ale. Medium bodied, softly carbonated mouthfeel with a short lived finish.

Drank in a nonic glass poured from a twelve ounce bottle. Floral aromas with a sawdust aroma I usually only get from berliner and/or sours. Pours a reddish, hazy color with nice beautiful fluffly head. Crisp initial taste, with the middle being that sour sawdust taste, ending in hops. I was hoping for better from FCB but I’m not an IPA person.
