Tap @ Cranknstein Foco. Hazy, somewhat cloudy light yellow appearance with a white head. Fairly tart, tangy, light lemon, coconut, vanilla, straw aroma. Pour on tap at Crankenstein, hazy yellow pour with thin white head, aroma brought notes of corn, grain, biscuit and some bready yeast, nice lemony lactic notes with a hint of spice, pretty clean overall. Taste is fairly nice and much more lactic than I thought, some nice grain, bread, biscuit and corn notes, slight vegetal note with a hint of yeast, finishing fairly tart. Pretty nice.

abysmally awful berliner weisse, and likely the worst beer had at Avery Sourfest. broccoli stems was suggested and it’s spot on, and combined with a strong vinegar and soured yogurt lactic acid quality it’s downright rank in the nose. low carbonation makes it worse - more flabby and watery in mouthfeel. cooked corn / DMS, lactic acid / spoiled milk, and broccoli. sonnycheeba (5988) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JUN 2, 2012

On tap at Ale Yeah! Very, very light gold and clear. Taste is sour, and that’s about it. No body, no flavors, no malts, no hops. Just a clear, sour beverage.
