Light straw pour with little head. Very little aroma. Mild sour hit at first, but it fades quickly, revealing a kinda thin beer. Crisp finish with a bit of biscuity wheat notes on the finish.

On tap at Falling Rock in Denver. Pours a light-moderate grain color. Lightly tart. Some wheat. Faint acetic character in the finish. Okay, but fairly tame and nothing too interesting about it.

This is a Berliner Weiss. For the style, a very well done representation. Clean, light alcohol, and very pleasant sourness, almost a citrus aftertaste and mouth feel, definite lacto. Well done. I give it a high score for the style. Most other breweries throw fruit in or other flavors to appeal to the public. I appreciate that they didn’t do that on their first attempt.

beerproject (129) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JUL 7, 2012
Aroma had some sour notes, but was fairly restrained. The taste was mostly a blast of lactic sourness with a really dry finish. It seems to be lacking that hint of brett that makes a berliner so good.

arminjewell (9729) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - JUL 4, 2012
Pour on tap at Crankenstein, hazy yellow pour with thin white head, aroma brought notes of corn, grain, biscuit and some bready yeast, nice lemony lactic notes with a hint of spice, pretty clean overall. Taste is fairly nice and much more lactic than I thought, some nice grain, bread, biscuit and corn notes, slight vegetal note with a hint of yeast, finishing fairly tart. Pretty nice.

On tap at Ale Yeah! Very, very light gold and clear. Taste is sour, and that’s about it. No body, no flavors, no malts, no hops. Just a clear, sour beverage.

bu11zeye (13239) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JUL 3, 2012
(Draught) Pours a clear yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of yogurt, vegetal, corn, and soap. Flavor of wheat, lacto, lemon, corn, and earth with a dry finish.
