Shockingly not bad nice aroma and actually decent ginger balance. I’ve lost a lot of respect for Fort Garry over the years but this is a step in the right direction. Atom (2572) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - AUG 21, 2015
On tap at Barley Bros, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of sweet ginger and lemongrass. Lots of ginger with some lemongrass. Nice if you like ginger. YigSvartka (449) - Manitoba, CANADA - SEP 9, 2014
Negligible head. Translucent golden orange hue. Very nice hop, citrus, ginger aroma with much emphasis on the citrus. Quite fond of the taste as well. Very light mouthfeel. Simple and refreshing akin to a lager, yet a tad more complex. Fiz, hop, and grass are complemented with ginger and citrus flavours. Some mild banana notes as well. Excellent easy drinking beer. vadie (1257) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 20, 2014
C’est comme un lager, mais peut-être un peu plus ambré en couleur, et un peu plus malté en bouche. Pas désagréable, mais pas bonne. ljthiessen (1438) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - AUG 18, 2014
Tastes and smells like the base lager for Fort Garry Lime, just switched up with ginger and lemongrass instead of lime flavour. Not all bad; definitely some ginger and lemongrass flavours coming through giving the beer a bit of a bite. But a bit sweet and grainy with almost no hops.

I really loved this beer! Perhaps it’s best if you love ginger as much as I do, but I appreciated that it was like some of the alcoholic ginger beers I’ve had, only even more flavourful and less sweet. I wish I could find this more easily, because it somewhere on the top of my list now. mnurda (1298) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - OCT 2, 2013
On tap a while back at Hus Asian Bistro. Light lager with a fair bit of ginger. Somewhat refreshing.

On tap a while ago at Hu’s on First. There’s more flavour and aroma here than a typical lager due to the spices, but it’s nothing all that interesting. cards04 (2917) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - OCT 20, 2012
Sampled at Original Joe’s in Winnipeg. Ginger dominates this brew on the nose and palate. Light and watery. Meh.
