Cleanly made brown, it's at the very high end of the roastiness for the style and relatively dark. I think this is also underrated on ratebeer. Can from LB. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A winnipeg produced dark beer. I have higher expectation for the dark ales but this one was ok.

Dark brown color, aroma is rather bland. Taste is a little chocolate, caramel and coffee but nothing really stands out. Mediocre dark ale

Aroma is roasted malts, caramel, molasses and fig. Some light coffee beans. Taste is roasted malts, caramel and coffee. Finished somewhat watered down yet a bit creamy. Appearance is a clear amber with a thin pearl head that retains quite well.

Easy to drink dark. Light roast and some caramel. A hint of dark chocolate. Black pour with ok head. Thick consistency. Bittersweet finish. Tap.

341ml bottle. I can’t comment on the pour - it was from the bottle at a wedding. The aroma is a mix of nutty and chocolate malt notes, with a little spice in there. Light spice hops up front lead into a nice, malty body, with milk chocolate and nut flavours. The finish is a little on the sweet side, and lasts pretty well. All in all, quite an enjoyable brown ale.

Pours black, malty, roasted grains, chocolate. Taste is much the same. I enjoyed it, supporting Winnipeg stuff is a good thing.

Tall can. Very dark but clear. Roasted malt aroma. Dark sugar and toasted flavours. Average body. Pretty decent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Great find in Winnipeg. Have it every time I go back on business. Nice darker ale without the bitters. Hops work well with the ever so slight sweetness. I will look forward to another good pint in the airport!

From notes: It was poured from a can the color was a dark brown with a slight head. The aroma was metallic like the can. The taste was of a slight bitter malt flavor.
