Seen the Amber so I grabbed a can. Thought was ale but a lager. Smelt nice but taste too fruity. Leaves a bad after taste. Real yeasty. jercraigs (10921) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 7, 2017
2017-07-04. Crisp golden amber body, nice white head. 3+ Aroma of sweet worty grains. The flavour is similar, sweetish up front, grainy malt, very light astringent bitterness. Average bodied palate, good carbonation. Not great. 5/3/5/3/10 Bottle? at Wig Wam Cafe, Wesagaming, MB. RichardGretton (4793) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - NOV 10, 2016

, Canada. Amber coloured beer with a reasonable head. The aroma is hopped with gentle roastedness, and the flavour is bitter and well hopped with a good degree of roastedness. Overall a nice pale ale.

Kind of hoppy, not too much, though. Borders on an EPA or bitter rather than an English amber. I liked it.

Light yellow body, nice foamy whtie head and lacing. Looks pretty. Slight sweet biscuit aroma. Palate is creamy and smooth like a cask ale. Taste is slightly sweet and malty with a faint touch of hops. Decent. cards04 (2931) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - JUL 21, 2014
Originally I thought this was their pale ale in an updated can - because I saw no marketing for this on social media, which Fort Garry usually does very well. Anyway - This is a good beer for it’s style. Nice hop character comes through on this with caramel malts supporting it. good stuff. ljthiessen (1448) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - JUL 21, 2014
Can. Deep golden hue with a white head. Caramel malt aroma. Fairly sweet, malty flavour, with lots of caramel, some marshmallow and leather, and a crisp light hop edge. Texture is a bit thick and oily - definitely heavy for the style. A pretty decent English-style amber, but a bit heavy on the caramel for my tastes.
