16 oz can. The first aroma to hit these nostrils after cracking this open is a resinous hoppy dankness wafting out of the canhole before I even poured it into my Duvel tulip. Pours hazy golden with a large white head with good retention. Taste is bittersweet and not quite as nice as the aroma let on. Nice hoppy flavor but not quite what I was expecting considering the aroma. It has a pleasant candy sweetness without it becoming cloying, though. Prickly carbonation, medium body. Nice IPA overall.

16 oz single can from "Lifesource" Salem OR. $2.49 Cloudy orange IPA, with a large thick, tight bubbly off white head. Spicy ,resiny, grassy hop aromas..quite fresh or so it seems. Taste is the same but with dank resiny hop taking the forefront. Slight lemon aspect also. Good thick yet drinkable palate..low carbonation. Nice enough IPA typical of the PNW style

Draught. Cloudy orange pour with a white head. Much lacing. Aroma is fairly full, citrus aroma. Flavour is rather less, but more hop. There is some malt in the finish

A big, golden, hazy brew with a permanent head. A thick resinous beer, with spicy orange oil notes and some spruce-like herbaceousness. It actually drinks stronger than it is. Its very tasty, but not something I could drink a lot of. Plus all that residual sugar would wreak havoc on me in the morning.

16oz can. A: Clean light orange body with a firm and fluffy white head. Looks very inviting. N: Pine, spruce and earth, though theres not a really heavy dropping here. Some tangerine and pineapple. T: Decently bitter. Has a noticeable malt backbone, but its got a stinging sharpness from the hops that isnt tamed. M: Very dry and palate scraping. Fluffy and full mouthfeel. O: A bitter power beer thats middle of the road for a style for me. I expect a lot more from these three. Its clean and well made, but its not terribly interesting.

16 oz can, consumed at home alone after fighting with my toddler to just go the hell to sleep -- a bitter IPA is just what Im in the mood for. Pours hazy orange-ish amber with creamy head, leaving behind loads of lacing. Aroma is hugely piney. Some pineapple/grapefruit citrus in there for backup, mingling with just a bit of caramel. Taste is an explosion of resinous bitterness with just enough malt beneath to remain pleasant. Big lingering dry, bitter finish. Medium body, average carbonation, creamy texture. Overall: This is a clean, big and bitter resinous IPA.

Can, at first, imbibed at the anniversary showing of "The Goonies" at the Columbian Theatre in Astoria, later on tap at Belmont Station. Colour...very cloudy golden-amber with a massive white head. Nose...quite fruity, especially boiled fruit sweets, with tropically fruity hops. Palate...a semi cloying thing to start, followed by loads of dried tropical fruits, hop resin and fresh alfalfa leaf. The mid palate is fresh and vibrant and the finish is long and loaded with fruit infused hops.

The kind of IPA I like. Smooth and balanced. Beautiful and full-flavored malt backbone, complemented by hoppy flavors and --importantly -- just the right amount of bitterness. You know you're drinking an IPA, but this is not bitter for the sake thereof. A- ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Canned 25JUN13 Its a ruddy amber with a solid sheet of light cream foam. Smells nice and hoppy with citrus peels, grapefruit, some resin, some grass and grain. Flavor is bitter with grapefruit pith, peppercorn, biscuit and a little gold raisin. Medium bodied with moderately low carb. Decent enough, nothing special.

On draught at PDX Beer Week 2013 Kickoff Party at Lucky Labrador. Light golden color. Honeyed citrus aroma. Grassy hop flavor. Oddly, has a smooth bitter finish.
