The kind of IPA I like. Smooth and balanced. Beautiful and full-flavored malt backbone, complemented by hoppy flavors and --importantly -- just the right amount of bitterness. You know you're drinking an IPA, but this is not bitter for the sake thereof. A-

Fruity, citrus, danky, resinous aromas. Pours a clear golden/orange color with a white head and good lacing. Nice carbonation the bitterness lets you know it’s there, but never steps over the line. Many subtle flavors really enjoyable. ericnixon (745) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 30, 2014
I’m not 100% sure if this is the right variation of this beer. I had the cask-aged 3-Way IPA at the brewery, which is the beer I’m going to rate in this space that has been allotted to me to do such things on this Internets site-place. Here’s the rating: Wow, that was a nice, thick head sitting proudly on top of this beer. From the glass emanated a bright, cheery grapefruit aroma. The coloring was light cloudy golden happy goodness. The mouthfeel borrowed notes of lightness from the appearance and smoothed them out with a well-balanced blending of a hoppy punch with a veritable cornucopia of other flavors. I’m not normally a fan of the hoppier beers, but I really enjoyed this. rlgk (18843) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - SEP 25, 2014
Sample at Great British Beer Festival 2014. Clear golden beer with an offwhite head. Hoppy fruity aroma, grass, peach, mango, oranges, passion fruit, some grapes. Hoppy citrus and peach flavor, pine, raisins, passion fruit, grapes, some caramel. Really good. neepsntatties (2076) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 30, 2014
Can, at first, imbibed at the anniversary showing of "The Goonies" at the Columbian Theatre in Astoria, later on tap at Belmont Station. Colour...very cloudy golden-amber with a massive white head. Nose...quite fruity, especially boiled fruit sweets, with tropically fruity hops. Palate...a semi cloying thing to start, followed by loads of dried tropical fruits, hop resin and fresh alfalfa leaf. The mid palate is fresh and vibrant and the finish is long and loaded with fruit infused hops.

16 oz can. The first aroma to hit these nostrils after cracking this open is a resinous hoppy dankness wafting out of the canhole before I even poured it into my Duvel tulip. Pours hazy golden with a large white head with good retention. Taste is bittersweet and not quite as nice as the aroma let on. Nice hoppy flavor but not quite what I was expecting considering the aroma. It has a pleasant candy sweetness without it becoming cloying, though. Prickly carbonation, medium body. Nice IPA overall. trujahwarrior (515) - Monroe, Washington, USA - OCT 3, 2013
16oz can poured Into my ipa glass. Pours a hazy golden color with a thick fluffy white head that leaves awesome lacing. Smells of pine, citrus, and lemon. Tastes of all the same things in the smell with a decent hop bite but nice malt balance and California common yeast adds a nice flavor too. Mouthfeel is between light and medium bodied and creamy with good carbonation and a semi dry finish. Very nice summer ipa. 3 brewers that have a reputation for good ipa did a great job on this one. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - JUL 25, 2013
16-oz can. Pours a cloudy dark amber with a loose white head. No lace. Gorgeous big bright fresh dimensional grapefruit and pine nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toasty caramel with grapefruit, pine, and orange on the mid palate. Loooong resiny finish. BEENJAMIN (292) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 16, 2013
Hazey orange white head. Zesty lemon lime rind with sweet doughy notes. Sweet bitter notes throughout, piney, resiny.
