Clear dark black colour with a small, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, dark chocolate, coffee, dakr berries, dried raisin, cask wood, smoke, peat. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to creamy, carbonation is soft to flat. 
From cask. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is dark roasted malty and breadish. Sweet caramelish, toffee and light breadish. Mostly sweet and dense caramelish finish - almost sticky. Ungstrup (37678) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUL 3, 2008
Draft. At my visit I was told it was at 8.8% ABV. A pitch black beer with a thin brown head. The arom is sweet matly with notes of roasted malt. Draught @ the brewpub. Pours a dark brown almost black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma with some hoppy hints. Roasted malty chocolate flavor with some hints of coffee. Has a dry roasted malty chocolate finish.

Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, alcohol, wood and some chocolaty notes. Flavour is the same with some slight notes of vegetables and some mild roasted and toffeeish notes.

GBBF. Cask. Opaque black beer, tan head. Surprisingly light palate, semi dry. Rich dark malt but not roasty or bitter. Licorice well balanced with the dark malt. Some fruit underneath - subtle. Dry finish with a touch of coffee. Tasty and drinkable.

Nose is roast malt, dark chocolate, liqourice.
Taste comprises roast malt, touch of booze, liqourice, sugars, bitter chocolate.
Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, dry roast finish.
Decent enough Impy.
