COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We let the pumpkins speak for themselves and don’t add any traditional "pie spices." The pumpkins create a creamy and subtle after-taste to the rich, malty core that is this autumn ale. Brewed with Organic 2 Row Malted Barley, Organic Wheat Malt, Munich, Honey and Caramel Malts with Challenger hops and REAL pumpkins.

On tap at tap house. Good tasting pumpkin beer except it is lacking something. Not bad just not the best pumpkin beer.

Nice Pumpkin beer without all of the pumpkin pie spices. If you like the taste of roasted pumpkins blended with a mild pale ale you love this beer.

Draught @ Brouwer’s Café:   Copper amber, slightly fiery, moderate to large frothy tannish head, spotty lacing.   Faint spiced nose, more sweaty than anything else.   Seems like pale Rye, but not really getting any of the strong pumpkin or nutmeg/cinnamon like spices that others have.   Very shallow on the tongue, malty, but without much spice.   Something is there, but its so subtle its hard to say exactly what it is.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Lightly spiced malty exit.   Too subtle overall.   Autumn Ale sure, but the Pumpkins don’t really come out on this one.

A light sweetness. Creamy texture and mild pumpkin flavor in what is a beautifully put together English Bitter. Super drinkable, nutty and smooth.

I really like the idea of a spiceless Pumpkin beer and for me this works pretty well for what it is. Drunkin is a very earthy amber colored beer with herbaceous hops to support. I’ve always been a fan and the 2013 batch is tasting very good. It wont knock your socks off but it’s unique offering from an awesome brewery.

On tap at Fort George Lovell Taproom. Colour...light amber with no head. Nose...not gettin much! Some faint spice, a generalised vegetal aroma snd that’s about it. Palate...kind of blah, which I rather hate to say as I enjoy so much of what fort George does! I don’t get much pumpkin a d o my a faint but of spice. This is not an offensive beer, just kind of so-so.

Clear dark amber color with ivory sheen. Vegetal pumpkin, nutty, caramel aromas. medium body. Nutty pumpkin seed flavors with sweet pumpkin, caramel, and a lightly astringent, spicy finish--good.

Tap @ Elysian’s GPBF 2012... Sort of meh. Poured a dark amber color with a thin, eggy, off-white head. I didn’t get a whole lot of pumpkin out of this, nor spice (as expected). Instead I was treated with a mediocre amber-like style ale here. Nutty malt, some yeast esters and spice, smooth mouthfeel, and an off fermented sweetness in the finish.
