On tap at Fort George, pours an opaque a deep dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma is on the malty side, with bready caramel malt. Flavour is similar, with dry bready malt and not much of a hop content. Dry and malty, with a decent balance. Rather boring but decently made. douglas88 (9570) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 21, 2014
On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark amber color with a large white head. A big sweet toasty nose, caramel, fruit. The flavor is bitter fruity hops, medium dry earthy caramel touched malts, pine. Very nice. DialSquare (5119) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - SEP 26, 2013

Draft at sb. Pours a cloudy dark brown with a dense and creamy tan head. Big nose that’s genuinely nutty--smells like black walnuts. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toasty darkened caramel and walnut mid palate. Long bready finish. Nice stuff.
