Can from supermarket in Portland, OR. Hazy orange body with medium, puffy head. Nose is hoppy, grapefruit, floral, oranges, quite nice. Taste is also hoppy up front, with grapefruit, spices, pine and cactus. Smooth and slightly prickly texture. Pretty great for a can, once again. Fort George is great. boFNjackson (4230) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 10, 2013
Can... Poured cloudy, dense, murky orange with a thin, bubbly white head. Some suspended, floating yeast too. This was bitter, with dank resinous hops and some citrus too. Borderline astringent. Some esters and tropical fruits with a mild bready sweetness in the end. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - APR 2, 2013
Draft at sb. Pours a murky light amber with a huge fluffy platinum blonde head. Looks like a marshmallow-covered custard. Pleasant tangerine aromatics. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Lightly toasty caramel, bright pine, and a bit of tangerine pith on the mid palate. Long citric fresh finish. Very approachable and enjoyable.

16oz can. Pours a hazy unfiltered darker golden with a bit of a orange tint, loose head white head. Sweeter caramel, piney citrus, but then there is this slight off putting faint vegital metallic twang, doughy biscuit malt. As it warms, the twang starts to fade a bit and more sugary sweetness shows. Fuller body feel. Doughy malt and citrus laced pine, fairly sweet throughout with a bitter astringent finish. crackedmachine (536) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 30, 2013
Pours a super hazy golden-orange with a thick, frothy, pale head. Aroma brings honey and caramel tones, followed by mild pine and citrus notes. Flavor is slightly sweet and malty, balanced by bright, hoppy pine and blood orange. Moderately bitter, lightly spicy rye finish. True to the NW pale ale style.
