Polypin, room temperature @ The Plough Inn, Taunton, Somerset.
Bright, medium gold and still. Very dry, grainy apple pulp nose with lots of straw, minerals and mouse fur. A supple shortlived sweetness upfront, very dry in the back, really sucked the saliva out making it oddly more refreshing. Fresh, sharp green apple flavour, quite tart with a doughy pear fruit base. Finish is short, the body very light. Quite clean, again some mineralesque liquor comes through. A simple cider, easy quaffing!
