Overall very enjoyable, specially on a nice warm afternoon. Nice aroma initially, a bit more malty than I initially expected but not bad. Good finish with some lingering bitterness. Over all, pretty nice.
Growler courtesy of jackl. Thanks! Opened 8/12/14. Pours a clear copper color with not much of a head but this may not have been completely sealed so I’m giving it the benefit of the doubt. Aroma of citrus, earthy, candied lemon hops, caramel malt. The taste is caramel malt, citrus hops, more of that candied lemon and a green, leafy finish. Medium bodied, low carbonation (again, benefit of the doubt) and good balance. Solid beer. . Travlr (24261) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 21, 2014
Draft at the source. Clear light amber color, medium white head. Aroma of light peppery lemon. Taste is earthy citrus and summer fruit. Tasty. jackl (8011) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 7, 2014
Keg @ Fossil Cove. Light copper pour with a tiny head. Peach and some tropical fruits. Pacific sea grass, some salt and lemon. Brine. Taste is somewhat woody and dry. Lemon sherbet, a bit of piss. Light body, zippy. Solid. BOSSbrewer (2705) - Arkansas, USA - APR 12, 2014
Had on tap at their place in Fayetteville. Pours a light amber. Slight maltiness. Very dry. Nice hop aroma. A bit thin on flavor compared to most IPAs. But still a nice enjoyable beer.
