Bottled. A golden beer with a nice white head. A sweet cereally aroma with sweetcorn. tastes similar. Boiled sweetcorn the dominant impression. A short bitter finish. Mass produced nonsense. Watery.

DruncanVeasey (8283) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JAN 28, 2012
300ml. Eponymous with a slim fine collar. Lemon, almond, slight pine aroma...beneath the regurgitated buck’s fizz. Thick, snot-laden palate with notes of glue, lemon and card spread with dog food. Not a personal favourite.

Third and final beer in my 28th September 2012 ’Dodgy Lager tasting evening’. 300ml Clear bottle: best before the end of Mar 2013. Dry, bitter, metallic, boring and lager looking: no smell. The worst of the pilsner/lagers I had during the tasting; I must thank my daughter for finding such delights for me (this and one each from the cheap German based supermarkets Aldi and Lidl). She tries to find beers I’ve never reviewed before, but sometimes she does things like this, just to test my love!

berkshirejohn (6651) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - NOV 4, 2011
300ml bottle. Pale straw with a rapidly diminishing white head; a rather odd aroma - furniture polish and lemon sherbert perhaps; watery with a weak malt flavour; and just a trace of hops in the finish. Decidedly odd.

SilkTork (5853) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - NOV 19, 2012
300ml clear glass bottle. Yellowish appearance. Warm, damp straw aroma. Soapy, lemony flavour. Little hop bitterness or aroma - saccharine bitterness. Soft, almost creamy/soapy carbonation, but still unsettles the stomach and creates wind. Grainy, cereal notes. There’s little to commend this. But it is drinkable.

SarkyNorthener (4847) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUL 28, 2013
Bottle. Yellow beer with medium fright head. Sweet malts and corn. Not good.

tommann (3939) - Dudley, West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 26, 2011
300ml bottle. Pours gold with a large head. Aroma is corn and a weird metallic lemon. Metallic twang is there too. Taste is quite like lemon shandy. Short finish. Nothing smart about this.

rauchbier (3933) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - DEC 7, 2011
Bottle, from Morrisons Scunthorpe. Gold, thin shortlived white head and moderate condition. Low estery malt in the nose, thin and quite dry in the mouth with a quickly disappearing fruitiness, short dry finish.

gegwilson (3794) - North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - AUG 3, 2015
Drank straight from the bottle at the Bansdale darts tournament - a night when I should have taken more beer. Cadged a bottle of this from Mark B to avoid having to drink Budweiser which was the only other beer on offer. This was better, but was still pretty bad.

ruigo (3080) - PORTUGAL - JAN 23, 2014
A plain regular basic lager with not much to say than it is a good refreshment in summer.
