A plain regular basic lager with not much to say than it is a good refreshment in summer.

660ml bottle from Tesco. Pours clear gold, thick white head. Aromas of cooked vegetables and metal. Taste is sweet, mineral notes. Thin, pissy finish.

berkshirejohn (6285) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - NOV 4, 2011
300ml bottle. Pale straw with a rapidly diminishing white head; a rather odd aroma - furniture polish and lemon sherbert perhaps; watery with a weak malt flavour; and just a trace of hops in the finish. Decidedly odd.

sm89walt (2013) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - OCT 22, 2012
300ml bottle. A clear, pale gold colour with a fine ring of loose white foam on the pour. An all-round grain, corn and sweet pale malt profile. Very little bitter presence finishing soft & sweet. Crisp, soft to medium carbonation, light in body & refreshing on the palate but relatively characterless.

330ml bottle - it was a bottle, I was on a football bus, it was lager. What more do I need to offer. Rank.

Drank straight from the bottle at the Bansdale darts tournament - a night when I should have taken more beer. Cadged a bottle of this from Mark B to avoid having to drink Budweiser which was the only other beer on offer. This was better, but was still pretty bad.

tommann (3533) - Dudley, West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 26, 2011
300ml bottle. Pours gold with a large head. Aroma is corn and a weird metallic lemon. Metallic twang is there too. Taste is quite like lemon shandy. Short finish. Nothing smart about this.

Bottle. Pale gold with a thin foam. Aromas are caramel and butter with mellow lemon. Some cardboard with soda water. Flavours are light lemon with butter and cereal grain. As expected.

Got 2 600ml bottles for 2 pound in home bargains. Thought it was a steal, but i know now why they are so cheap. Sickly sweet fizzy tastleless lager. Ripper off ripper (in an Aussie accent)
