COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Filtered and pasteurised. Available with added carbon dioxide in keg, can and bottled formats. First brewed in 1887.
Available in Britain as Export.
"A light-coloured lager style, it presents full malt character with a balanced clean hop bitterness. Combined with a slightly hoppy, but yeasty/malty nose, Foster's lager is a full bodied beer with excellent drinkability."

Nothing to this one, only slightly less bland or offensive than bud.

I like this brew, even though it is now mass produced. It has a nice head and is an easy quaff.

I had some drafts of the Fosters that is now brewed in Canada and they were smooth. Ill go back and have some more.

Fortunately this isnt really a true Aussie Beer because they are even worse. The chemicals used to purify Aussie water give them a metallic taste. This however, doesnt carry the same trait; it has no taste at all. Beer flavored water. Cool Cans! Gets high ratings by all the publicity it gets Fosters, Australian for Wombat Piss

Another generic lager. Pit it against a dozen other big domestic and imported beers and Id challenge you to tell the difference in a blind taste test. All bottles, cans and kegs of this brand are brewed and bottled in CANADA. They picked Canada so it can still say Imported on the label. If you think youre getting an Australian beer you are getting it in name only. The beer itself is brewed by Molson or Labatts or another one of those behemoth breweries in Canada, I forget which. Fosters, its Canadian for beer mate.

Overall, a good beer, especially off tap. Not too heavy, but with some bite and finish.
