COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Filtered and pasteurised. Available with added carbon dioxide in keg, can and bottled formats. First brewed in 1887.
Available in Britain as Export.
"A light-coloured lager style, it presents full malt character with a balanced clean hop bitterness. Combined with a slightly hoppy, but yeasty/malty nose, Foster's lager is a full bodied beer with excellent drinkability."

One of the standard 'fun' imports. The large can, coupled with found memories from the Gulf, make this a standard in my book.

It's gotta be in that huge motor-oil looking can! Somehow it taste better that way, the bottles are okay, but the can is it!

I don't like the aroma, but the color and carbonation are nice. Taste, well...what taste?

No aroma to mention, other than what was perviously in the glass. Clean appearance, golden in colour. If I had to drink larger, than it would be this one, but thankfuly I don't

I am sure many have tried this, so what is left to say. Light beer, easy to drink, but lacks in the flavor area.

UPDATED: FEB 7, 2003 Having not had this in ages. recently I ordered one on draft at a restaurant that carried only domestic macros and this. I slightly embarassed myself by telling the waitress that the bartender must have sent me some domestic swill, because no Real Australian Beer could possibly be this watery and nasty-tasting. Silly me.
