COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Filtered and pasteurised. Available with added carbon dioxide in keg, can and bottled formats. First brewed in 1887.
Available in Britain as Export.
"A light-coloured lager style, it presents full malt character with a balanced clean hop bitterness. Combined with a slightly hoppy, but yeasty/malty nose, Foster's lager is a full bodied beer with excellent drinkability."

A satisfactory beer, not as good as DB beers, but drinkable. ...............

short lived flavor, not much better than an american Macrobrew. Atleast i didn't vomit after drinking it.

The can is what attracted me to this brew, but the taste is what keeps me away. For some reason this lager always tastes watered down and has a pretty rough aftertaste.

UPDATED: MAR 27, 2003 bright golden colour, almost no foam, the aroma is missing except a fine hint of wet paperboard, sweet, flat, no bitterness, nothing ... give me a beer, pleeaaase !

Not bad... not great... but not bad. May sound weird, but I think it has a real 'beer' taste to it; I don't know, hard to explain. Surprising flavor for a light beer. Those large cans give you an excuse to drink fast to keep it from getting warm :)

A slightly above average tasting lager. ....................................
