COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Filtered and pasteurised. Available with added carbon dioxide in keg, can and bottled formats. First brewed in 1887.
Available in Britain as Export.
"A light-coloured lager style, it presents full malt character with a balanced clean hop bitterness. Combined with a slightly hoppy, but yeasty/malty nose, Foster's lager is a full bodied beer with excellent drinkability."

Thin layer of head. A few bubbles floating up through the clear, lightest straw colored body. Smells like a metal container. Fizzy and metallic bitterness. Not a good taste. Fizzy, but not highly carbonated. Light and crisp body. Not great, but it’s from Australia.

Can (1 pint 9.4 oz). Grass and corn husk aroma. Grass with corn sweetness and some mild bitterness in the finish.

Common aroma and taste of lagers, pale malts, a litte hops, nothing special.

Pale body with a white frothy head. Aroma of pale malts, grain and grass. Taste is malty, sweet corn, tiny bit of hops.

Johnsense (1668) - - JUN 13, 2017
Light clear gold pour, large rocky head, some lacing. Fairly sweet aroma, grainy, straw. Grainy up front, light corn sweetness, light bittering hops. Light spritzy body. It’s ok for a macro.

A 4 percent lager in Britain. Compared to Carlimg it’s quite sickly really. You may get a pint that is nice. Honestly this used to be the stuff that I drink when I was 15/16 at the only pub that would serve me, good times. Don’t think this stuff has been bear Australia for a while ( Brewered In Edinburgh and Manchester). I wouldn’t bother with it. It’s okay for a session but it’s usually more expensive than Carling so I would go for the latter.

Nice lager to sip on in a bar but not great if you’re looking to enjoy a few beers.

Silky smooth pale lager with no off tastes, and expected high drinkability. Very good on a Sunday afternoon. 3 out of 100, really?

Fosters; commonly referred to as the ’Stralia Budweiser. I suppose that’s partially true; but it does have more flavor and character than most of the macro lagers brewed in The States.

Can, thanks mum. Clear golden with little white head. Aroma is flour hops and a bit corn. Taste is sweet pale malt with some bitter hoppy fresh sourness. Easy drinkable only a little alcoholic dust in the finish. Not bad.

Faint aroma of sweet malts. Taste is similar with VB-like flavour from the local hops. It is fine, but nothing too great.
