It was a strong beer, but it was very tasty. It was a little bit too sweet. MetalMurphy (777) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUN 3, 2016

Appearance: No foam. Deep copper colour.
Aroma: Some plums and dry plums. Lot of malt, melanoidines appears also. And there is something like a rye bread.
Taste: Sweet, malty taste with fruity (plum) aftertaste. Gentian is accented, but not dominating. Almost no carbonation. Alcohol is warming and well hidden.
Very good doppelbock, also I am not a fan of this style. Fules (1434) - Gyöngyös, HUNGARY - APR 27, 2016
Közepes, tartós bézs hab. Szép barna szín. Illata erős komlós, fűszeres. Erősen pörkölt jelleg, fűszeres, kissé karamelles ízvilág. Utóíze erősen pörkölt, és kissé karamelles. Nagyon testes.

Bottle at Szimpla Kert, Budapest. Poured a hazy medium brown with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is sweet malt, mineral, some yeast and and alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet with a sweet fruit, woody hop bitter, warm alcohol palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Really liked this. Lots of alcohol but it was in the background and contributed greatly to the overall enjoyment. zvsn (2370) - ISRAEL - SEP 21, 2015
