(backlog, retrieved from lost notes 2013) Tap at source, MI 09/2013. Poured an expectedly thin bright gold with quickly vanishing head. Floral nose, with inviting lemongrass and light pineapple notes. Taste is thinner than expected, reiterating some of the pine and lemon notes, gone in a very quick finish. Not sure whether it was the keg that night, but given high expectations, ratings and a dire need for more flavoursome light IPAs, this failed to impress and did not invite our group to much sessioning. To be revisit from bottle... (note: very reminiscent of a few Störtebeker Atlantik Ale, entry level sessioner). andriesradu (702) - ROMANIA - APR 17, 2014
From tap @ BBF 2014. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Moderate hoppy aroma, tropical fruits, mango. Flavor is moderate bitter with a long duration, tropical fruits, citrus, a bit weak. mojoman (158) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - APR 16, 2014
Tap at ML Rose West: Ah, the first Founders brew on tap in TN that I have seen. A session IPA but still good on hoppy flavor. Aroma of pine/hops, decent color and a dry hoppy taste. Not my fave brew from Founders but it definitely has it's place as a session.

UPDATED: JUN 19, 2014 Fra fad. Har glemt barens navn, men det var i Greenwich Village. Orangegylden og klar med et ok hvidt skum. Frisk, humlet sag. Masser af citrusfrugtige og granagtige humle-noter. Let, men ikke så let. Bitter, men ikke mere end medium. Crisp, ren, tør. Og god. Brentv (683) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 14, 2014
From bottle. I’m a fan of big beers: Imperial IPAs are one of my favorite styles. This is a session ale, and while it packs a lot of flavor, it’s missing the punch I like in my favorite beers. Don’t get me wrong, this has a a nice color, a pine citrus aroma, and a hoppy pine citrus flavor, but there’s no head, no lacing, and it has a thin mouthfeel. I admire the effort, and I understand that this is the perfect answer for someone who wants an IPA flavor profile without the associated alcohol, but that’s not why I choose a beer, and this just feels thin to me.

Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a Portsmouth Brewery tulip glass.
The color is a orange/gold with a finger or two of foamy white head with a little thin lacing left on the glass.
The smell is hoppy pine at first. There is a nice sweet malt backbone that does have a presence here in the nose. There is some nice flowery grass aroma here that is quite pleasant.
The taste is bit different with some bitterness charging forward giving a slight resin flavor that is a little off putting. The is a touch of grapefruit and pine flavor there before going into a malt flavor that barely has a chance to get used to before the bitterness returns pop at the end.
The feel of the beer is medium bodied and has a nice drinkable feel to it. There is lighter carbonation on this beer and the low ABV helps bring the flavor without bringing the intoxication.

Bottle at home in garden, 13th April 14. Nice pale ale, light and easy drinking, not a patch on the aromatic Centinial though. OK to try on a hot day fabs_pics13 (3) - - APR 12, 2014 does not count
Founder’s ALL DAY IPA is a naturally brewed American craft beer with a complex array of malts, grains and hops. It is balanced for optimal aromatics and a crisp finish with hints of citrus, grapefruit specifically. The hops are not as brutish as other varieties but they pack a clean, fresh punch that makes this beer perfect for pairing with your favorite medium-bodied cigar, perhaps a fine Alec Bradley American Blend Sungrown. When gently poured into a pint glass the brew emits a golden hue that foams a gorgeous white head. The light feel with bursting flavor is the great paradox that completes this beer.
I characterize this beer as the perfect “weekend beer”, and may be a bit premature by saying this, but this brew has definitely made my list of all-time favorite IPAs. toddstogner (1) - - APR 12, 2014 does not count
Nice floral IPA. Not overly hoppy. It's nice to have a session IPA. Drank it out of the bottle so I really can't comment on appearance. charlotte (5425) - rødovre, DENMARK - APR 12, 2014
