Bottle over lunch on offer at an unassuming caf in Wahroonga, Sydney Golden beer, holds a good white foam. Nice hop drive aroma; pine, citrus, light caramel malts. Medium bodied, full carbonation, nice malt texture, Plenty to offer on the body. Good malt backbone, biscuity, lightly toasted malts pave way for plenty of cedar/pine, grapefruit and spice from hops. Finishes with a firm, but certainly not aggressive bitterness. Begs another sip. Not sure what this "session IPA" fad is all about, but certainly a tasty APA. Highly drinkable. Good to see Founders beers making an appearance down here, even in little cafs, where one would usually order a wine because the beer list would usually be dreadful...times are a changing!

Bottle from Glug, Newcastle. This pale golden beer has sweet tropical fruit and juicy orange marmalade flavours with a sweet light fruity and pine finish. Excellent!

Copperish, clear and bubbly beer with a very small head. Sweet and fruity aroma, mango, persimon. Quite bland tasting at first. Little grassiness. Not a lot of crispiness even if it has so many bubbles. Quite thin. Better than average market beer or ale. There is some bitterness but it still manages to be a little bland and watery.

Pours hazy golden with medium white head. Aroma of pine, mango, peach, citrus and hints of grapefruit. Taste is medium bitter with some fruit sweetness and lingering bitterness. Light, refreshing body with softish carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

My go-to beer for all day sipping. The aroma lets you know its an IPA, and it carries all the way through a long but pleasing finish. With the low alcohol, the bitterness is definitely the highlight here, but it isnt overpowering.

Bottled: unk (rubbed off) Its a lightly toasted golden raisin with a solid sheet of fine whipped toasted cream foam atop. Smells of resin, pine, some grain and a little metal. Nice and assertively hoppy on the nose, has what I consider a classic PNW smell. Flavor follows suit with resin, pine and some body oder...Maybe a bit of grapefruit pith and a solid amber like malt character with a bit of biscuit. Medium bodied with slightly soft carb and an off dry finish. The beer reminds me of Bitter American from 21st Amendment, and since its on the shelves around me, and canned, it would be my go to over this one. Good though.

Bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a nice, white laced head. Light, sweet, hoppy aroma. Smooth taste with a light hint of hops. Slight tart flavor. Aside from that, nothing spectacular.
