Aroma is full of pine. Appearance is gold with a slight haze, a white head and decent head retention. Piney, citrus hop flavor dominant with a caramel malt backbone. Mouthfeel is light with a lasting bitter bite on the end. Overall, it's a decent session ipa, I just wish the bitter bite on the end was toned down a bit and the aroma showcased the hops more.

In my opinion this is bordering on a light beer. If it was sold as a light beer I would rate higher, but just because it is a Founders, doesn’t make it 95+ It doesn’t belong anywhere near their KBS is at 100/100 which I love. It certaintly isn’t near a Ballast Point Sculpin which is what a iPA should be. martin00sr (4038) - Haderslev, DENMARK - FEB 10, 2014
Lys orange, lille perlende skum. Arpma: grapefrugt og appelsin. Tør bitterhed med citrus og harpiks, medium carb, let, clean, meget forfriskende. tectactoe (3125) - Michigan, USA - FEB 10, 2014
UPDATED: NOV 6, 2014 Tap: Hazy, amber-copper color... I find that the clarity is better from the bottle than the tap, in many cases. Minimal off-white head that leaves a few patches of lacing behind. Aroma has lots of earthy hops with lots of pine, hop oils, & mild resin. Tons of citrus as well; grapefruit & orange peel with a timid tropical pineapple lingering in the background. Taste follows through with bigger heaps of pine needles, wet hops, dank resins, grapefruit rind, & mushy pineapple. Sticky coating, wet all around with a nice bitter bite in the finish, leaving you with a slight earthy & woodsy hop aftertaste. The body has a slight watery aspect to it, but I can’t complain much at 4.7% ABV. Lots of flavor per weight, here. A nice sessionable "IPA".

Definitely prefer this one straight from the can. Has a very piney aroma. Grassy, piney, citrusy taste. Very clean dry finish. Sessionable for sure. Love it!

Pours a nice amber yellow with a white head. I taste hints of pine and very mild citrus notes. It’s not super happy, which I like. Very good for the end of a long work day. esp0r (2921) - NORWAY - FEB 9, 2014

Light copper hazy, white head. Smells of spices, pine cones, some resins, light malts, hints of honey and basil. Light to moderate sweet, quite clean and light body, some spices in the back. Sharp medium bitter finish, spicy and with a nice resin kick. Very nice, very sessionable
Copper colour, some foam that quickly disappears. Citric and fruity, spruce and grass. Medium bitterness. Very drinkable and refreshening, an excellent "light-IPA". Vighals (3982) - Sørumsand, NORWAY - FEB 9, 2014
Lys brun i fargen med lite hvitt skum. Lime annanas grapelukt. Bitter, med søtlig sitrussmak. Medium kullsyre, kort medium bitter ettersmak.
