Looking to score a delicious IPA in the glass multiple times in the same sitting without filling up? This is the beer for you. Excellent flavor even if the texture is a little light for this hop head. Great beer going forward into the spring when the weight of IPA’s can lose its appeal. Especially when having with a meal. Had a 12 oz pint on tap in my shop in Wake Forest, NC.

Swing and a miss. The aroma is spot on hoppy and pungent. The taste is wiredly not anything like the aroma. Bland with a heavy bitter bite. The body is super thin.

Big fan of this IPA. Low in alcohol. Definitely a session beer, 4.7%. A great summer sipping beer. Love it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Outstanding grapefruit aroma, and lingering hop bitterness. Low ABV "session ale" is appreciated as part of a reasonable beer menu. However, body was thin, and lacking the fuller malt input.

UPDATED: JUL 19, 2013 12oz Bottle. Thanks so much Sean! My first beer in two weeks, following a gluten-free experiment that only proved the fact that beer keeps me fat. Fresh, zesty citrus-forward aroma. Ah yes, this is great. I’m so glad Founder’s pulled this off the way it should go and that they can make both this and something monstrous [insert your favorite Founder’s booze and sugar bomb here] of the same quality, under the same roof. Most brewers wouldn’t care to try. The hop action here is awesome. Prickly, alive, and reminding me what fresh green things, sunlight, warm breezes, and long days taste like. The body almost goes a little thin and astringent, but keeps it up, making this one of those beers that I’d put on my desert island selection.

UPDATED: MAY 15, 2013 12oz bottle, courtesy of Mario Rubio. Thanks, dude!! Pours a bright, clear, orange-yellow color; mixed-bubbled white head with light retention and lacing. Modest aroma showing grapefruit and round tropical fruit notes; not particularly forward; some light grassiness. Medium-light body; medium carbonation. While I wouldn’t go so far as to call this watery, it feels a bit thin at thirst; as the core grapefruit bitterness builds, I can get a sense of the "IPA" nod: lots of lingering bitterness here and unabashedly hop-forward; a nice grassy dry-hop quality as well; I could drink and savor a whole lot of this beer (though, again, a touch more body wouldn’t be unwelcome).

UPDATED: MAY 11, 2012 Bottle nice and fresh poured a golden in color with not much of a head and little visible carbonation. Aroma has bright hops, grass, citrus, and a bit of sweetness. Light mouth feel and the carbonation is there but on the lower side. Flavor brings in some bitterness, resins, grass, light citrus, grains, and a dried out finish. Really clean beer and highly drinkable.

Sample at EBF. Aroma has big citrus, lemon rind, fruity, and some grapefruit. Medium mouth feel and good coating for a light beer. Flavor of big citrus, grapefruit, creeping bitterness, and a crisp finish. So sessionable and super juicy fresh on draft!

Mine was labeled “All Day IPA” with the label I voted for on the Founders web page a while back. But don’t let the pitch as a session beer scare you. This beer is a true ipa. Starts nice and sweet and finishes with a crisp grapefruit tang. So flavorful and drinkable that I went over to the computer to look this beer up and make sure it was not just a special season beer. Happily looks like I’ll get to drink this year road as a very flavorful “lawn mower” beer.
