Tap at map room. Tight pine, grapefruit, orange peel hop profile. Touch of toasted caramel for balance. Great. Dry. Sessionable. Right up my alley

Draft at Map Room as All Day IPA. It says IPA, but really more of an APA. Nose is brightly hoppy with a lighty catty note. Some strong citrusy notes in the nose as well. Great nose. Minimal malt character. On taste, firm bitterness and full of citrusy hops. Light malt profile and under-boddied for the level of hopping. A really good beer that I could drink a lot of, just lacking the body to really tie it all together. Solid.

Draft at The Bridge. Labeled ’All Day IPA.’ Pours a light, clear, bright gold color with a small white head that leaves an even layer of lace in the glass. Aroma of herbal and floral hops, lemon citrus, grass, and some light malts in there. Flavor of floral hops, lemon peel, lemongrass, doughy malts, minerals, and crackers. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a bitter mouthfeel that has a strange bit of soapiness somewhere along the way. Dry finish. Interesting beer and certainly has a lot going on for a lighter beer.

draft at maproom. pours gold with white head. nose is green and grassy. flavors of citrus, green, melon, honey finish. Good stuff but not bitter enough for an ipa listing. great beer for a beer of the month though.

TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - MAY 8, 2011
Draft on tap at Map Room with Drew after Kan’s. Awesome. Pours a nice glowing golden hue, a nice bigger thick bright white head, laces well frothy and laces good. Aromas are vibrant lemony citrus, grass, and florals, touches of grapefruit. Some bready and pale malts get well covered up by bigger hops. Initial is a bit lighter up front moving into lemons, grapefruit, touches pineapple. Touches of bread dough, pale malts, and crackers. Middle is citrusy, vibrant, floral and dry with good citrusy lemon. Finish is dry, citrusy, and a touch soapy with citrus rind. More of an APA, but a really good one.

UPDATED: OCT 1, 2015 15 pack good for all day drinking as suggested. Pours a golden, amber, honey toned body with sticky white lacing that hugs the glass rim of my pint glass. Fresh citrus, pine, and a hint of spruce. A beautiful clean fresh hoppy flavor with a hint of dough and grass. A thin short lived hop burst quickly dissipates and leaves you thirsty for more. Finally a proper session that lives up to its name. The beer iv’e been in search of for some time. Enjoy folks.

Enjoyed on tap at a Founders tasting event at Binny’s south loop in Chicago, IL. I don’t know if I could drink this ’all day’...I don’t think I’d want to wake up the next day. Appearance cloudy golden with rich white head that sticks to the side of the glass. Aroma of stinky, beautiful hops, a bit grassy and ’naturey’. Taste relatively creamy and equally bitter, kinda sucks the moisture from the sides of your mouth. Plentiful amounts of hops, not much really on the malts but its somewhat crisp. Very good, solid IPA.

On tap as part of a sampler at Founders Brewery in Grand Rapids, MI. Appearance somewhat clear golden with not much head. Aroma mostly malt and lemony with a touch of hops, very nice. Taste similar to Gumballhead, has that nice lemon citrus flavor with a good hop backing. Goes down super easy, very flavorful, delicious. Would definitely enjoy again if it was readily available.

On-tap at Local Option, phrase of the night was "All Day". You can certainly drink this all day long.... The body is golden peach with a bright white head. Not much retention but ok lace... Lots going on in the nose with tropical notes balanced with floral hops. very strong for the abv, appreciate that... The taste loses some of the strong notes, more muted and what does come through is more of the floral hops that have a slight bitter finish that is not expected or pleasant. If some of the tropical mango came through this could be spectacular. Very drinkable and pretty darn good, but than its rating right now.

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2013 Sampled from the tap at EBF. Poured a clear gold with a white head that dissipated to the edges and laced nicely. Aroma had a nice citrus note with a bit of bitter grapefruit and a nice grain backing. Flavor was really nice with a complex hop profile combining citrus, pine and grapefruit with a good malt backing. Beer was quite smooth as well.

On tap; pour is honey gold into this snifter. Mild white head with decent lacing. A nice grassy hop aroma on the nose, this brew is simply a sessionable IPA. The malt profile is muted, the grassy hop profile is light for the style, and it happens to finish on the dry side. A touch of citrus, overall, decent.
