Pours a clear golden orange with a soft foam head that dissipates quickly. The aroma is hop driven with citrus, mild pine, resinous, minor yeast scent, and a pleasant crisp malty tone. Tasting, I picked on moderate bitterness, defined pale malt flavor, and there was a mild citrus taste. This was a very well rounded beverage. The finish has a soft but pleasant bitterness that lingers. Overall I enjoyed this, it is a very drinkable beverage. Founders did exactly as they extended to do. I put an honest day of work in and it was a treat to unwind to this brew. Sad24 (208) - GREAT YARMOUTH, Norfolk, ENGLAND - JUN 4, 2014

@ Havregatan.
12oz bottle from a Wegman’s in Buffalo, NY. An amber pour with a billowing off-white head; piney, fruity, west coast hop aroma; in the mouth there’s a good balance between the malts and the rather vigorous hops; leading to a crisp grapefruity finish. I could certainly drink this all day. Holmen2 (3629) - NORWAY - JUN 2, 2014

Can at John Salt, Islington on 31 May. Poured a clear golden colour, with a white head. Aroma of caramel, grass and some herbal notes. Toffee malt on the initial flavour, mixed with some citrus hop and a woody element. Finish was slightly musky, with some straw and pine. rustbucket0873 (460) - Greenville, South Carolina, USA - MAY 31, 2014

The flavor is citrus, and grapefruit all the way through, i dont depict any other flavors, but pine as it goes down. leaving a lingering flavor. Overall this is a nice light beer with an ipa flavor. dalfaro86 (309) - Mexico City, MEXICO - MAY 30, 2014

On tap @ CBF 14. Golden with a tiny white head. Fruity and malty tones. Malt, fruit, pine and hops. Medium body with a long bitter sweet finish. Pyobon (1398) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAY 30, 2014
(Bottle) Hazy golden amber with little head. Plenty of aroma, primarily pine, but with quite a lot more going on including citrus and floral. Very interesting and inviting. Light body with moderate carbonation. Taste presents some difficulties, because in some respects it is rather thin and watery, and in others it’s got a very decent hoppy bitterness. It starts wet and thin with a little malt and some restrained but pleasant hoppy bitterness. The hoppy bitterness builds in the finish and is quite crisp but also a little harsh. Overall this is a strange beer. I understand what they are doing, and they have done it quite well. However, for me, it doesn’t work; it sort of feels hollowed out - presumably because the malty body and the alcohol are substantially reduced.
