Bottle, at Kick. An almost clear one, dark golden orange in color and with a minimal sized off-white head. The aroma is mostly citrusy, with pine cones and a touch of pale malts and biscuits. Some umami. There’s a nice bitterness in the flavor, some maltyness in the back. Full to medium body with a pleasant carbonation level. Pine cones and a nice bitterness in the end. Sure an all day beer. 140201

Bottle at Zack and Matt’s 4/20 IPA tasting. Pours clear gold with white head. Nose and taste of perfumy hops, citrus and light caramel malt. Medium body. Good.

A: The beer pours light amber in color with a tall white head and some nice lacing. S: A really good aroma to this. Nice pine notes as well as some citrus (grapefruit). There’s a bit of biscuit malts along with mild grass and some herbal hops. Very resinous and oily. T: Mild toffee flavor and sweetness on the flavor. Plenty of grass and pine hop notes, but not quite as much citrus. Just a bit of grapefruit peel and a pretty decent bitterness. M: Medium bodied with a medium carbonation. O: Really great nose on this. The flavor isn’t quite as good, but it’s still enjoyable and at sub-5%, really easy to drink.

Bottle. Trade With Theydon_Bois. Thanks. Pours Dark Golden With a Very small White head. Nose is hoppy citrus and bread. Crisp dry citrussy and grassy hop flavor. A bit thin body. Quite quaffable and tasty. Reminds me a bit of Brewdogs punk IPA.

355ml bottle (S-Market, Helsinki)
Lovely grapefruity aroma right from the pour, in the glass there are some nice sweet light biscuity malts. Nice gold, brief tight off-white head. Clean palate, not too sticky, not too watery. Tasty - just some light malt backbone, and plenty of citrussy grapefruity hops. Finish just gently resiny, a little sweet. Slips down easily, could session this, and this would definitely quench my thirst on a hot day. Nice golden bitter.

Bottle, 4.7%. Mild juicy grapefruit aroma. Cloudy golden orange colour. Small stable white head. The flavour starts off nicely bitter. Has a bready and nicely aromatic flavour. A little watery, but nicely mineraly mouthfeel. Not powerful, but like it says on the label, a session IPA.

UPDATED: MAR 12, 2017 Sampled at CBC 2013. Clear golden color, small to medium sized white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, moderate to heavy hoppy, lightly grapefruit and tropical fruits but mainly bitter hops. Nice flavor though and combined with the reasonably low ABV I’d say this is a very nice beer. Original rating: 8-4-8-3-17 [4.0] -- Rerate March 12th, 2017, tap at The Black Sheep, Dublin. Way way better than the first time, incredibly hoppy, fruity, tropical fruits hop and easy drinkable. Absolutely top notch. Up by 0.5 to a 4.5 total. Superb beer!

Draft - Grapefruit and tropical fruit. Cloudy gold with a rich creamy beige head. Light citrus grapefruit with pithy bitterness. Nice and light.
