Appearance is clear gold with white 1 finger head. Aroma is light caramel malt with citrusy grapfruit hops. Taste has hints of lemon rind, grapefruit rind, and even a hint of orange peel against a honey malt background, although a little bit watery. Not knowing that this beer was under 5% alcohol until I had finished it, it could have passed for a weak 7%er. Body is medium-light, oily, and with average carbonation. Overall, a perfect IPA for sipping all day! The abv is low enough to have several, yet it has all the hop aroma and flavor you would expect from a much larger brew. Tap at Founders. Nice clear yellow pour with white head. Aroma of leafy, citrusy hops with biscuity malts. Taste is hoppy and dry, quite bitter but not overpowering. Palate is light and well carbonated. It is an ale I could endure for a long time. HonkeyBra (4044) - Lemont, Illinois, USA - AUG 11, 2011
On tap at the Founders Brewpub. Pours a nice golden with a slight orange tint. White head. Aroma is strong citrus, mostly grapefruit, with lots of pine, resin, and leafy hop notes. Flavor has a nice strong bitterness, very mild sweet malt. Lots of citrus and pine, really clean nice hop notes. Fresh, this beer’s flavor is excellent. A bit thin bodied which is excusable considering the ABV. Get me some bottles of this. Seriously, fresh, this is fantastic. Reynolds314 (3470) - Connecticut, USA - JAN 24, 2012
This one is perfect for what its trying to be. A very sessionable delicious beer. The hops are light and balanced and its just an easy drinking treat, blklab2007 (2120) - Connecticut, USA - JAN 25, 2012
UPDATED: MAY 11, 2012 Bottle nice and fresh poured a golden in color with not much of a head and little visible carbonation. Aroma has bright hops, grass, citrus, and a bit of sweetness. Light mouth feel and the carbonation is there but on the lower side. Flavor brings in some bitterness, resins, grass, light citrus, grains, and a dried out finish. Really clean beer and highly drinkable.

Sample at EBF. Aroma has big citrus, lemon rind, fruity, and some grapefruit. Medium mouth feel and good coating for a light beer. Flavor of big citrus, grapefruit, creeping bitterness, and a crisp finish. So sessionable and super juicy fresh on draft!
Flavorful lower alcohol brews are getting to be my favorite thing in the world. It’s not the most attractive thing in the world--cloudy orange w/ nearly no head--but we’ll give it a pass just for being a lovely and hoppy, drinkable pale ale. This really does drink a lot bigger than it is w/ a vibrant fruity hop nose and firm bitterness int the finish. Malts are subdued and play mostly a lightly sweet supporting role. Texture is light but not unsubstantial and it all comes together very nicely. Definitely, the name suits this beer. I could drink it all day. Keeping in mind this is a session ale, I think Founders does a good job with the All Day IPA. Sure it’s not packed to the gills with flavor, but it’s not supposed to be an in-your-face brew. It’s cold out right now and I want to be sipping an Imperial Something-or-Other, but I think when I’m sweating myself silly in my air condition-less home this summer, I could go to this brew pretty quickly. lithy (2996) - Capital of Appalachia, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 26, 2012
Pale hazy yellow, white cover. Nice hop aroma, spicy and citrusy. Taste is citrus, spicy, bready malt, nice stuff. peteinSD (1469) - San Diego, California, USA - MAR 3, 2012
Bottle from Sean - thanks! Pours a light golden caramel with a thinnish slick of white foam. Aroma is light hop bitterness, citrus, pine, and a clean, dry malt backbone. Taste has a touch more hop bitterness than the aroma with pine and some citrus before giving way to a clean and light malt finish. Dry and crisp in the mouth. As with everything I’ve enjoyed from Founders this is well crafted and balanced. Very good sub-5% abv hoppy beer I’d love to have access to on the regular out here in San Diego. Great flavor and hop character. This beer is very good. I wish I had access to this beer, this would be a great beer to have often. Very drinkable. I think it is a very impressive beer considering it’s abv. Amazing.
