Grabbed this growler at Founders in late August. Consumed the day before Labor Day.
Pours a nice light gold-to-copper color with a white head and a good amount of legs. Smell is quite strong and hoppy with some excellent floral, citrus, and tropical notes. Grapefruit and mango stand out. Taste draws back a bit, but is still quite nice. Light malt character, but really not too much. Mouthfeel is light and dry. Drinkability is very nice. I’m really glad the trend of these lighter abv, highly-hopped ales seems to be catching on both with pale ales like this one, as well as quite a few hoppy wheats. Bravo to Founders; this was well deserving of its GABF medal.

On-tap at Local Option, phrase of the night was "All Day". You can certainly drink this all day long.... The body is golden peach with a bright white head. Not much retention but ok lace... Lots going on in the nose with tropical notes balanced with floral hops. very strong for the abv, appreciate that... The taste loses some of the strong notes, more muted and what does come through is more of the floral hops that have a slight bitter finish that is not expected or pleasant. If some of the tropical mango came through this could be spectacular.
Very drinkable and pretty darn good, but than its rating right now. andyhwcinc (1886) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 14, 2011
Enjoyed on tap at a Founders tasting event at Binny’s south loop in Chicago, IL. I don’t know if I could drink this ’all day’...I don’t think I’d want to wake up the next day. Appearance cloudy golden with rich white head that sticks to the side of the glass. Aroma of stinky, beautiful hops, a bit grassy and ’naturey’. Taste relatively creamy and equally bitter, kinda sucks the moisture from the sides of your mouth. Plentiful amounts of hops, not much really on the malts but its somewhat crisp. Very good, solid IPA.argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 17, 2011

On tap as part of a sampler at Founders Brewery in Grand Rapids, MI. Appearance somewhat clear golden with not much head. Aroma mostly malt and lemony with a touch of hops, very nice. Taste similar to Gumballhead, has that nice lemon citrus flavor with a good hop backing. Goes down super easy, very flavorful, delicious. Would definitely enjoy again if it was readily available.
Draft, labeled All Day IPA. Medium white head, clear light-amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, pine, lemon, apricot. Taste is moderately sweet, pine/grapefruit, some apricot, light lemon, orange. Soft light-medium body, fairly clean, very easy drinking. swigswthwolves (74) - Michigan City, Indiana, USA - MAR 1, 2012
Pours a light to medium clear amber. Aroma is hoppy with a deep undertone of fresh citrus fruit. Grapefruit slightly overwhelms the hop intensity which works very well here . The flavors of hops and citrus linger just long enough to make you miss them a little when they disappear. When Founder’s describes this beer as the perfect reward to a hard day’s work, they’re spot on. This beer would satisfy just about anyone after a long day!

Bottle e. Big bright aroma. Huge fresh citrus and floral notes. Pale orange with a thin whispy head. Sweet orange and tangerine flavors with a grapefruit finish. Subdued bitterness. Plays against the sweetness well without lingering in anyway. Finishes dry with a mild astringency. Very drinkable but full flavored. Delivers on its promise as a session IPA. iowaherkeye (2804) - Ocean Beach, San Diego, California, USA - MAY 26, 2012
Founders all day IPA. Tap at OB Noodle House. Clear yellow gold with a one finger white head, good retention. Lots of citrus rind hops in the nose, light pine. Flavor continues with just enough cracker malt to keep things going. Scant sweetness. The hops midway through to the finish remind me a lot of my last home brewed IPA (ass play) with a lightly sweet dry hopped note, though markedly less bitter. Dry finish, bitterness at a 4. Light to moderate carbonation with a light body. All day, indeed. 8-4-8-4-17--4.1

(bottle - 12 oz) Slightly cloudy gold pour with a fluffy white head. Big hop blast in the aroma. Some nice citrus and grassy notes with a mild undertone of pine. Flavor is a great amount of citrus balanced well with that dry and bitter hop bite. Slightly sweet finish with a bit of a lingering bitterness. jjgmd (2294) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - JUN 16, 2012
Well to start think peaches. Pours an amber reddish color with a small head. Nose is all peaches with some citrus and vanilla. Taste is all peaches, and sweet with some mild bitterness. Very drinkable but light secondary to the light ABV. But finishes on a high note, very enjoyable. Quaff Score 8 / 10 TJackHole (83) - Alabama, USA - JUL 3, 2012
My favorite IPA, smooth and drinkable. nice citrus, grapefruity flavor. easy finish that I can literally drink all day. I love the woody wagon on the front.
