3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a Portsmouth Brewery tulip glass.
The color is a orange/gold with a finger or two of foamy white head with a little thin lacing left on the glass.
The smell is hoppy pine at first. There is a nice sweet malt backbone that does have a presence here in the nose. There is some nice flowery grass aroma here that is quite pleasant.
The taste is bit different with some bitterness charging forward giving a slight resin flavor that is a little off putting. The is a touch of grapefruit and pine flavor there before going into a malt flavor that barely has a chance to get used to before the bitterness returns pop at the end.
The feel of the beer is medium bodied and has a nice drinkable feel to it. There is lighter carbonation on this beer and the low ABV helps bring the flavor without bringing the intoxication.
Oof. Taken me ages to get this beauty. Local asda stock cans now. Got one but wish got lots more to session on tonight. Hops with all the usual subtle grapefruit and citrus abound. Flavoursome bit not overpowering and strength good to chug. they stopped stocking lagunitas daytime . Sad but glad that I then tried this. Both great. Need to try together Quevillon (3165) - Boisbriand, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 21, 2017
355 ml bottle (from a 6 pac) purchated at the Rideau/King Edward LCBO in Ottawa on October 7, 2017. Light copper, small head. Sweet hoppy pine aroma, notes of peach. Woody pine taste, dry hoppiness with some citrus kick, light bitterness. A fairly easy drinking but enjoyable session IPA! hopguy4 (5) - - OCT 15, 2017 does not count
Can literally drink this all day. Not the hoopiest ipa but it’s one of the best session ipa’s around.

Barwa jasnozłota, piana duża.
Aromat cytrusów, żywic, iglaków.
W smaku owoce tropikalne, cytrusowe, trochę żywicy. Goryczka spora i krótka.
Mega fajne pifko. blynde77 (17) - - OCT 14, 2017
A decent hoppy beer that doesn't stand out among many decent hoppy beers. Aftertaste isn't desirable, but the overall taste and aroma is fine.

Keeps your taste satisfied while allowing you to have a couple of extra due to relatively low ABV for a IPA, hence the name. Nicely brewed with a complex array of malts, grains and hops. Balanced for optimal aromatic and a clean finish. rami_pl (4225) - Warszawa, POLAND - OCT 10, 2017

Sympatycznie pijalne, cytrusowo-zaroslowo-lesne, z ewidentna goryczka ale krotka, zbozowe nieco... nic specjalnego ale mile ewidentnie, z +

@ Gollem Beer and Burgers.
Aroma is very nice and complex with grapefruit and nice caramel with zest. Taste is a bit of a bummer. Some zest, yeast and caramel, very middle of the road. Palate is creamy and clean. Classical stuff. 77ships (10844) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - OCT 6, 2017
Draft glass @ Gollem. Clear orange, creamy white head. Nose is nice white grape, lovely big white grape hop, faint litchi. Nice smell but taste is weak, empty papery empty thin malt, vague white grape, doughy, lacking all hops. Oily doughy, papery minus the hop. Promising smell, such weak taste, I expected so much more from this classic & it should be fresh. michael_bb (138) - Barcelona, SPAIN - OCT 6, 2017
Pineapple, peach and ripe fruit all along, the aroma is quite intense yet not mind-blowing. Clear amber with a thick (but not too durable) white head. Taste is good, but pretty average for most IPAs. Very well balanced and easy to drink, there is nothing that makes it stand out over the rest but it's a sort of go-to beer for any situation.
