Bottle. The pour was a cloudy light copper amber with a small (1 finger or less) white fizzy head that quickly diminished down to a very thin film and small collar with a minuet amount of spotty lacing. The aroma was right up front with a spruce hop, some grain malts and a strong bitter citrus note (lemon peel and orange peel). The taste was bitter from the word go with a nice strong hoppiness developing slowly and a harsh citrus peel note towards the end. The flavor lasted an average time after the swallow with the strong hoppy taste left to linger for a while longer. Mouthfeel was light in body and dry in texture with a nice mild carbonation. Overall a very good IPA with a great hoppy finish along with low ABV, make this an awesome everyday brew...

Nice and not so strong. Exotic fruits and a longlasting taste. An ale for all days.

12 oz bottle, thanks anderson01. Founders finally comes to the Pacific Northwest. Bottled a bit more than two months ago. Aroma starts out a little vague, but it opens up a bit after a couple minutes, becoming slightly floral, citrusy, grainy, tropical fruit, spicy. Pours hazy golden-orange with a small white head that reduces to a cap of foam after a minute. Taste is lightly bitter with lots of citrus, tropical fruit, grainy flavors. Harsh prickly carbonation. Very nice for this style.

Lovely hoppy aroma, golden colour. The taste is great - hoppy and tasty but really well balanced and not too bitter. Good session IPA - I could easily drink a few of these . Recommended

12 oz can poured. The day Founders finally showed up in WA, I went out and bought the 15 pack of cans for an extremely reasonable price. Since then, its been my go to beer for golf, watching sports, writing, or anything else. Such a pleasant session IPA, light, but flavorful. The name describes this beer best. Its one to enjoy all day long. Soft bready malt, behind a cool hop constant. Simple IPA really, but it does the job. Very nice.

poured from 19 oz. can (great deal on these btw). blunted aromatics of typical IPA recipe of citrus and pine. definitely doesnt have that danky funk of a true IPA, but still tastes pretty good. medium body, soft carbonation, and goes down real easy. very sessionable.

Weird sized can from Lifesource in Salem. 19.2 oz..560ml $1.99 Pours a pale orange/amber with a very nice thick and frothy off white head. Very nice hop aromas pine, grapefruit and peach stone.. Taste similar with orange peel elements taking front stage, thin malts. The mouth feel is very good for style. Medium soft with soft carbonation. Very good Session IPA,

12 oz. bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out light dry hopping and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is fairly astringent, with dry piney hops and crisp biscuity malt. Dry and crisp. Nothing special but it works.

On tap at prefunk boise. Pours out a light amber color topped with a small head. Nose is nice hops light pine and floral. Taste is more of the nice hop and mellow malt bill. So happy they are now available in the boise market.

On Tap at the Prefunk Founders tap takeover NIce fresh hop flavor for not a big beer. Citrusy and pithy. Rather dry and thin. But it is a session after all. Not bad.
