Pours opaque mahogany with a thin light tan head. Roast malt aroma has a peppery overtone. Flavor has malty, caramel, nutty and spicy notes, the latter mostly cinnamon and pepper; thankfully, the pepper is not as strong as in the aroma. Where’s the coffee?
