Plovmand (8703) - Grindsted, DENMARK - FEB 21, 2018
Bottle. Love the label! It pours hazy deep golden to light amber with a creamy off white head. The aroma is very malty and has notes of bread, vanilla and fruity hops. Light oak. The flavor is sweet malty with caramel, bread, oak and hoppy notes. Modern barley wine like. Some warming alcoholic notes in the finish.

coil (205) - Reading, Berkshire, ENGLAND - FEB 20, 2018
355ml bottle from The Grumpy Goat, Reading. Amber colour with white head. Big bourbon barrel, citrus hops, orange peel, caramel, warming alcohol, orange candy, light Cointreau maybe, dried mango, light set honey, peach, fruit cake, marmalade, light pine resin, light cinnamon toast, toffee, barley wine aspects. Super rich and boozy sipper, very nice, maybe a bit too boozy though.

barrelagedluv (89) - Pittsburg, California, USA - FEB 18, 2018
Pours a vibrant caramel, amber color with a sizable head and a cluster of bubbles clinging to the bottom of the glass. Scents of butterscotch and lemon. The taste is really an interesting contrast in flavor. On on hand it’s ripe and hoppy, on the other its rich and velvety. The finish is smooth and quite boozy. I was skeptical how an IPA would stand up to barrel aging, considering hoppy beers are best fresh. Somehow the good folks at Founders pulled it off with amazing grace. Cheers!

Speko (539) - DENMARK - FEB 17, 2018
Bottle thanks to Slacker. Pours hazy golden with medium off-white head. Good retention and nice lacing. Aroma is some bourbon and malts. Taste is bourbon, toffee, vanilla, cream, followed by hop bitterness in the aftertaste. Alcohol is there on the heavy side, which is a pity, as it ruins the experience. Full body, pleasent soft mouthfeel, average carbonation.

2.9
SlackerMads (3646) - DENMARK - FEB 17, 2018
Bottle. Light hazy golden with a medium sized off white head with good retention, lace and regeneration. Relatively mild aroma with caramel, honey, vanilla and very mild bourbon. The flavour has bourbon, vanilla, honey, hay and sugar. Medium to full body, creamy texture, medium sweet and bitter with very harsh alcohol. Long harsh dry alcoholic finish. A shame it is so awfully boozy as it has some good elements.

Hopper8 (282) - Holland, Michigan, USA - FEB 14, 2018
UPDATED: FEB 14, 2018 Phenomenal. It has all of that bourbon sweetness and complexity with the dry and bitter finish of a hoppy IPA. I really wanted to just keep sipping this beer.
