Very nice bourbon oaky aroma with a smooth malt and hop backing. Balanced and does not taste strong. Hops and woody oak goes well together. Has a slight sweet malt finish balanced by piney hops. Unique having a bourbon aged IPA but it works and is pretty good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Ładne piwo. Dużo beczki, białe wino, wanilia, grejpfrut, trochę za dużo alko odczuwalnego.

355ml bottle @ Konttori, Tampere. Pours clear golden with a thick white head. Aroma has cedar, booze, malts, rye bourbon notes. Pretty boozy stuff. Bourbon, wood and malts. Straightforward, too boozy for me.

(Bottle, 0.355 l - BB 24.04.2018, from Alko, 20170818) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had sweetness, wood and alcohol. Palate was medium bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, wood, alcohol and bitterness. Aftertaste was boozy, sweet and bitter. A way too boozy brew with wood notes.

Aromat: zapach mocny i intensywny, połączenie słodkich i dojrzałych owoców tropikalnych, cytrusów, nut żywicznych, wanilii i wyraźnego aczkolwiek subtelnego bourbona. 8/4/7/4/16

UPDATED: AUG 18, 2017 Bottle. Pours clear light copper with white head. Aroma is strong cookies, sweet malts and alcohol. Taste has cookies and caramel ending with warmth of alcohol and nice lingering bitterness of the hops. Vety smooth and well balanced. Sweet!

Turboninja (785) - Tampere, FINLAND - AUG 18, 2017
Bottle@Summer Cottage (Karkku), from Alko Anttila, Tampere, Finland. Huge nuances of sweet malts, overaged mango, some butter cookies and probably some vanilla flavors. Bourbon and boozy taste is clearly visible. Also a great amount of hops. Averagely balanced with wide taste spectrum and long, hoppy, dry fruity aftertaste. Medium/strong body with medium/light carbonation. Overall, very good bourbon implementation of the original Double Trouble, but a bit too boozy.

PabloZab (1578) - Wroclaw, POLAND - AUG 18, 2017
Bottle 330ml (BB 24.04.2018). Vanilla in aroma, much more in taste, medium bitterness. Beer is delicate, very smooth, delicate oily in consistency with completely hidden booze, really drinkable.

Turtles (2740) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 18, 2017
355ml bottle from Systembolaget. Hazy golden, dense white, lasting head, rich lacing. Deep sweet aroma, wood, oak, caramel, nougat, vanilla, coconut and bourbon. Full-bodied, silky mouthfeel, soft carbonated. Woody bitter taste, bourbon, vanilla, pine and coconut up front. Caramel and resin follows, long warming and bitter finish.

Bottled:
Pours clear amber with a large head. Bourbon aroma with notes of vanilla, oak casks, nougat and alcohol. Boozy flavor with notes of Bourbon, oak casks and fudge.
Too strong for its own good.
