Coconut. Prominent in the nose and flavor. Weird things happen, i guess, when you push the alcohol limit, and then age in Bourbon barrels. But I wouldn’t have expected this. Attractive thin white head. Medium body with a a creamy mouthfeel.but even the finish leaves you with sweet coconut. Not to my liking, regrettably.

Bottle from Chevy Chase Wine and Liquors. Amazeballs appearance, deep crystal clear golden color, large white head with great lacing. Aroma is coconut, oak, pineapple/piña colada, sugar. Flavor is sweet, coconut, cane syrup, somewhat bitter on the finish. Body is fairly full but not crazy for the ABV. Not too boozy either come to think of it. I like it!

Unclear golden color, small white head. Sweet aromas with caramel, syrup, lemons, bourbon and meringue. Sweet and thick taste with malt, alcohol, bourbon, lemon candy and slight hops. Pretty good, but not much 'IIPA' in it.

MasDen (448) - Mogilev, BELARUS - SEP 22, 2017
Aroma of prunes, fruits. Yellow, transparent with a dense, white foam. The taste is mainly prunes, some fruits. The aftertaste is long, dry and bitter. The body is dense, the carbonation is medium.

On tap at the Crafty Fox, San Francisco. Pours cloudy dark orange with medium white head. Malty, dried fruit, bourbon, caramel, vanilla, quite sweet with some bitterness. Wood. Warming, some unpleasant alcohol. Full bodied. Reminds me of barley wine. Interesting, not sure it gained by barrel aging though.

tapefuzz (716) - Massachusetts, USA - SEP 16, 2017
12oz bottle. Pours clear golden amber with a moderate white head. Aroma is bourbon, vanilla, oak, and very light citrus. Taste is tons of bourbon, some barrel, caramel, light citrus (orange and grapefruit), alcohol, and some resin. Very boozy. Decently bitter; piney, slightly oaky finish. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Oily mouthfeel - not quite as heavy as I was expecting for the ABV. Slightly too much alcohol and the mouthfeel has a disappointing Sierra Nevada feel to it.

ciocanelu (2801) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - SEP 16, 2017
On tap at Beavertown Extravaganza. Aroma has butterscotch, oranges and resiny hops. Taste starts with sweet bourbon but the hops kick in with a good amount of bitterness. Really nice combination of flavors.

chrisv10 (17937) - DENMARK - SEP 15, 2017
Bottle, 12.4%. Clear amber with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, toasted, hop, wood, vanilla and peach. Flavour is malt, caramel, toasted, vanilla, bourbon, sweet, warming, peach, hop, bitter and notes of alcohol.

oberschlesier (101) - Kattowitz, UPPER SILESIA, - SEP 14, 2017
Aroma: low to mid intensive vanilla (bourbon barrels) and a bit of american hops. Taste: sweetness of bourbon barrel, and rather long bitterness in aftertaste. Alc. is not very rough, but clearly detectable in taste. I can say, that alc. is component of this aftertaste bitterness. Beer is transparent, head is not very impressive.
