Split a bottle. Poured a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma was light honey notes, some vanilla, ginger, sweet fruity notes. Lots of boozy notes, some plum. Flavor was light spicy hops, vanilla, malt. Alcohol is burning, so much heat. jackl (8071) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - DEC 24, 2014
Bottle @ Three Notch’d Tasting. Light amber pour with a small head. Strong donut batter sweetness. Toasted nut raisin bread. Caramel. Flavor of maple bar, trail mix. Caramel. Boozy but not as tough to drink as I feared it would be. Full body, soft carb. GODiSSOUTHERN (390) - Virginia, USA - DEC 21, 2014
Bourbony, vanilla, maple, caramel. Nice desserty sweet beer with good amount of barrel flavor without too much heat. Chalsk (1104) - North Caldwell, New Jersey, USA - DEC 14, 2014
On tap at Capone’s. Pours a clear Amber color with a small off white foam head. Aroma of caramel with some earthiness and maple syrup. Sweet caramel taste with a slight hop layer and plenty of maple. Boozy bourbon spice and some vanilla notes underneath. Tasty. alobar (3778) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 29, 2014
Golden orange color with aroma of honey, maple, and bourbon with sweet malt flavor dominated by honey and maple with a subtle bourbon backbone. Great beer.

This beer is so smooth for a wheat wine! Pours clear translucent amber with a small beige ring for a head. Aroma brings light malty sweetness with a bit of maple spritzed in in the sweet level. Flavor brings sweet malts that transition into pleasantly sweet maple syrup. hopscotch (11078) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - NOV 20, 2014
Bottle... Pours clear and amber with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The aroma features graininess, berries, caramel and red-hot ethanol. Full-bodied with a buttery mouthfeel and stinging carbonation. The flavor is a marriage of big bourbon bitterness and heat, and gooey caramel sweetness. Finishes bittersweet (more sweet than bitter) with plenty of lingering alcohol warmth. Bottle courtesy of newcigarz! jkwood04 (5448) - Connecticut, USA - OCT 14, 2014
Big bottle in a tulip. Pours deep amber with a lacy, cream-colored head. Aroma of caramel and toffee and sweetness from the malts, some alcohol/bourbon and some oak, vanilla, maple, some bitterness to balance the sweetness. Flavor the same with nice blend of everything even though it is really sweet. Smooth, thicker texture. A unique beer but I don’t know if I’d want to drink a lot of this. mcox90 (2088) - Wilton, New Hampshire, USA - OCT 9, 2014
750ml bottle courtesy of Ernesto987. I was bummed it didn’t get opened at the tasting we were all at, so he gave it to me, how cool is that. Pours a lovely blood orange with a thin white ring. A couple of chunky floaties keep the appearance rating from being a 5. Intoxicating nose with aromas of maple, brown sugar, bourbon and oak. Flavor is a rich combination of the above mentioned things. What a mix! Full bodied and gut warming. Nice. nuplastikk (6254) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 8, 2014
750ml bottle shared at tasting. Lots of floaties. Creamy smooth golden sugary barrel notes. Butterscotch...in a good way. Foamy, soapy head. Very easy on the palate. Delicious. Leaning into dessert beer territory. Barrel bomb. Nice.
