Pours a dark amber, opaque. Lacing is OK. Aroma is rye and cherries. Sour cherries. Taste is mellow and balanced. Rye is very apparent, but not overpowering. Not a bad brew.

Cloudy copper from draft. Big coconut from the barrel... BIG. Drinks more like a barleywine than an IPA, but itís super good. Decent bitter at the finish. Smells of coconut, and a touch of fruit possibly cherry from the alcohol. 8, 4, 8, 3, 17

On tap at the Blind Tiger. Poured an amberish color with a small sized off white head. Woody, vanilla, caramel, lighter bourbon, and some citrus.

Draught @ The Ginger Man. Copper red with medium creamy beige head, grassy hops aroma, low carbonation, sweetish taste with cinnamon and possibly nutmeg at the background, full body, long spicy finish. Quite a complex brew.

Had on draft at blackstone. Poured in a tulip. No head. Aromas are all barrel. Flavor is similar. The barrel is very strong on this, but not in a deep, immersive way with things BA for a longer time. It's a bit abrasive, though not entirely disagreeable. The base beer fades a bit in with the barrel application, though it's still there and still good. I liked this, but the barrel does just seem a bit tacked on rather than a core component of the beer.

On tap at Rattle N Hum, New York, NY. An amber/red coloured pour with a medium off white head on top. Rye, bourbon, caramel, vanilla aroma. Tastes similar, rye, bourbon, caramel, vanilla. I drank 3 of these in 50 minutes, so easy to drink. Great stuff as ever from Founders.

Have a good color dark amber. the taste is too much caramel dominated. Light carbonated. Is not the best of founders.

Draft at Meridian Pint. Deep clear amber color, tan head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of butterscotch and toffee. Taste is vanilla, burnt caramel. Big and boozy.

Draft, pours a dark amber. Nice aroma of bourbon, hops and caramel. Taste is oak, sweet malts with a decent hop presence.
