I’m assuming this is the one I had (Bourbon Barrel aged), I see it is retired - must have re-brewed it I assume. On tap. Poured a black color with a small sized tan head. Coffee, vanilla, roast, lighter bourbon, chocolate, and some more coffee. Chargedgs (8) - Michigan, USA - MAR 14, 2012 does not count
I'm hoping this gets bottled soon, had on tap on kbs day. Very heavy coffee taste, nice vanilla and oak flavors and a little heat from the bourbon.

On tap at brewpub. Pours brown with thin white head. Aroma is coffee, caramel, brown sugar and bourbon. Flavor is similar to aroma with a long bourbon and coffee finish. Delicious. ICEatALAMO (1349) - Troy, Michigan, USA - MAR 10, 2012
Draft at the brewery. A very hot beer. The alcohol was in your face. The aroma is awesome, but the taste is in your face. If it settled down it would be awesome. Needs to calm down, but not terrible if you are visiting. bigtaster (977) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - MAR 9, 2012
On tap at Founders. Pours a dark brown/black color, with a small brown head around the edges of the snifter. Huge waft of wonderfull coffee on the most, a bit of roast behind the coffee. First thing I noticed is how smooth this beer is for being barrel aged, flavors with quality fresh coffee, there is a lot of malt sweetness in it. Light booze, but ends up working really well with the coffee. Very intense beer, as it warms it gets much better, the flavors meld into something I’ve never tasted before. Fantastic.
