Rating Founders Red’s Rye with Mosaic hops on cask at the 2017 ACAF.
Deep red-copper body with a significant bubbly beige head.
Very hoppy aroma but there’s enough malt to balance this out in part in the the flavor. Strong flavor! Slightly harsh, medium-full body.

Dark red and brown semi clear almost no head. Lots of rye aged yeast, huge spice, vanilla. Medium body, lots of alcohol, sharp sweetness and nice pine bitterness, caramel,very smooth. Not much carbonation and almost like liqueur candy. Wonderful.
