I thought I ordered a Big "Foot", . .. a similar to Great Diviide, a type of barely wine. . . so i was pretty surrpised by this pink fruity beer. It was like V8 splash with a little bit of a sour/alcohol type of bite to it. It was smooth to drink, but sweet, very fruity, and it was pink. . . so watch out ordering this around any other person.

On tap at the brewery tasting room. Note this batch was 7.3% a.b.v. It as grapefruit pinnk colour and lacey. It smelled berry, and some citrus. The taste was a nice tartness, with coconut Good drinkability, I call it a beer sangria. Average mouthfeel.

Growler. Poured a murky reddish purple color with an off-white head. The aroma was sweet and fruity with notes of berries. Very fruity flavor. Sweet with a hint of tartness. Light bodied.

On tap at Founders. Completely opaque pink color with no head; looks like V8 Splash. Aroma of chalky cheese, berries, corn, sweet malt and cherry. Cheesy berry flavor with hints of lemon and pineapple. Odd.

Bright red, cloudy pour with a light pink head. The nose is quite rancid. An odd saurkraut vegetal aroma with a bit of tart cherry as well. Rich and chewy flavour but the tartness is really quite strange… rotted cabbage and vegetables with lots of weird lactic character. Some pomegranite, cherry and cranberry flavour. Can’t say I’m a fan of this one.

Growler pour @ Paul’s tasting. Hazy ruby pour with a slight white head. Full fruit aroma not too sweet. Cherry, rasp, cran, berries don’t follow too much into the flavor.

Growler shared by the always generous j12601. Dark pink with big bubble ring. Gluey banana raspberry aroma. Raspberry banana sherbet with mild somewhat beerlike carbonation. WTF? Looking at my notes, I see I decided to stop drinking for the night after this palate depressor. You gotta be really bored of brewing great beer to put something like this together.

Growler thanks to my Secret Santa, whose identity I still have not ascertained. I took this to Paul’s for a big ol’ tasting. Pours a cloudy brown with ruby highlights and a thin white head. Aroma is very weak, nothing really stands out. Light oxidized malt, Loads of fruit, tastes like a cherry compote almost, lightly sweet, lots of tannins and a bit of tartness. Finishes up with more cherry skin tannins and a bit of subtle sweetness. Rather tasty.

Growler. Pours a punch maroon like body with a white head. Fruity berries,l raspberries, strawberries, cranberries. The aroma doesn’t carry as well into the flavor. Sweet with a soft lightly grain body. Decent fruit beer.
