Draft sample. Poured a clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate citrus hop and small malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a freind.
12 oz pour on tap at the brewpub (Grand Rapids, MI). Pours a dulled amber hue, some orange glow with decent haze overall. A smallish whitish head sits atop, dies to a small loose film, laces small. Aromas are mellow sweetness, touches of orange and fruit, pale malts and toast, gentle biscuit. Cleaner and mellow aroma, pushing a touch more orange as I get into it. Initial is mellow and clean, touches of dry hops up front, mellow oranges, and bready malts. Touches of toast, pale malts, and gentle earthy malts. A nice "English Bitter" vibe here, growing bitterness up front as it warms. Gentle sweetness, earthy and bready, dough and toast, oranges, dry grass, earthy hops. Finish is mellow and orange, bread, pale malts. Earth, gentle spice, growing dryness. Quite pleasant, refreshing, and easy going. The ABV seems a touch high, but it’s not bad. brew3crew (166) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 13, 2012

On tap at Founders last week. Reviewed from notes.
Pours a medium amber color with a good off-white head and nice lacing on the way down. The nose carries a bit of biscuit and bready malt with some earthy hops. Slight floral presence as well. Flavor has good malt backing and a faint hop presence. Light body with good carbonation. Solid brew.
