75 cL bottle, thanks to Myrup. Pours hazy red with a lacing head. Clean raspberry, slight citric, acidic and sweet. Flavour is quite citric and berry fruity. End is soft into dry. Wow.

Bottled. An unclear dark red beer with a thin pinkish head. The aroma is sweet with notes of red berries, while the flavor is sweet yet with an acidic edge from the raspberries.

Bottle. Hazy red coloured with a light pink head. Sweet aroma dominated by raspberries. The flavour is dominated by raspberries with notes of hops and light acidic notes. Hoppy finish. The raspberries are very dominating. but still quite good.

Bottle. Hazy purple maroon color, small pink head. Aroma of brandied chocolate covered cherries. Taste is sweet and sour cherries and Christmas fruitcake. Nice.

Hazy dark red beer. Short lived thin pink head! Aroma of raspberries, a little sour. Dry crisp palate. Immediate tart raspberry, although it mellows to a degree - this flavour dominates throughout. Very dry crisp finish, leaves a warming afterglow. Just the right side of being too puckery.

Papsoe (25054) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 1, 2007
(Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of sliffy. Pours a slightly hazy, warm, reddish with a small, pinkish head. Very distinct and intense raspberry aromas. Quite full-bodied with distinctly sweet raspberry accents - unfortunately a little chemical and soapy in the finish with also some acidity. No hop presence though. Too much of a good thing really. 280907

Leighton (22769) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 11, 2011
Bottle from 2008 at the Funky 6. Pours a hazy, deep red with a medium, pinkish head. Holds a strong, sweet aroma dominated by raspberries. Flavor is fairly sweet with lots of berries, citric hoppiness, light acidic tartness. Medium to full in body with soft to average carbonation. Warming, sweet finish with lingering raspberries and slight tartness. Very nice beer.

Bottle from ericandersnavy. Thanks very much for this one! Pours very dark ruby with a light pink head. The aroma is fresh raspberry. Medium body with mild carbonation. Primary flavor is raspberry. Somewhat tart. Could be a bit of detectable malt. Finish is all raspberry and raspberry seed for bitter. Just slightly acidic after awhile.

Draft at Founders. Raspberry color with moderate fuzzy raspberry color that diminished slowly with good lacing. Good tart raspberry and citrus aroma. Medium body with syrupy texture. Moderate sweet flavor with a long tart fruit and small alcohol bite finish. Another very good change of pace from Founders.

Dogbrick (14287) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JAN 8, 2007
Shared growler from the brewpub. Pours a pinkish ruby color with a medium and fluffy white head with decent retention. Strong tart raspberry aroma with touches of citrus. Medium-bodied and fizzy with a very strong raspberry flavor that mellows pretty quickly. Unlike most tart raspberry beers, this one becomes easier to drink with time, which is probably due to the maltyness. The higher than usual ABV is well-hidden too. The finish is tart raspberry at first but finishes like sweet toffee. One of the best Fruit Beers I have tried.
