tap. Amber with small head. Relatively light malt body. Dry and bready. Moderate hops. Mix of citrus and pine. Slightly aboverage. OPIE788 (337) - Ohio, USA - DEC 10, 2013
Draft at Founders. Poured a golden color with a white head. Not much of an aroma but what I did get was bready grain. Taste was faint pine hop with grain. Not bad but not good either. Thorpe429 (5035) - , Illinois, USA - FEB 4, 2012
On tap at Founders last week. Reviewed from notes.
Pours a nice golden color. Clear with a good white head and some sticky lacing on the way down. The nose carries through some light citrus hops and a bit of biscuit-like grain in the background. Faint hops for sure. Flavor is similarly week and disappointing coming from Founders. Light body with a dry finish. Not much going on here. ryan (3186) - Beltsville, Maryland, USA - JAN 4, 2012
Tap at Founders. Bread dough and biscuit nose with light a touch of pine. Taste is lightly sweet, lightly bitter, some light resinous hops, and grainy malts. Silphium (3199) - Traverse City, Michigan, USA - DEC 28, 2011
Draft at Founders. Medium hazy orange-brown body, thin clumping cream head. Cerealy, grassy nose. Biscuity, dry body dominated by nutty, toasty grains and bitter, herbal hops. The hops are just potent enough to leave a bitter aftertaste. Sharp and competent.

Gold and clear color. Thin body with limited head. Grain aroma, but nice hop bitterness in taste. badnewsbeers (2312) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - AUG 20, 2011
tap at founders..golden amber with big beige head. seems to me like a dry hopped centennial ipa..big centennial hops with some light biscuit...another great american pale from a brewery that can only do good... neuromatt (1225) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 20, 2011
On tap at the brewery, served in a tasting glass. Pours clear amber with a bit of white foam but no head. The nose has lots of resin and delicate pine, along with pale malts and grain. The flavour is moderately sweet up front, but it is quickly overtaken by bitter, resinous hops. The finish is moderate in length with woodsy bitter hops. On the palate, it is light-medium in body with a dry texture and soft carbonation. Overall, this is a decent pale ale but a bit too light in body for my taste. It starts out with a very promising hoppy nose, but the body disappointed. 2011-08-16
