3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft to taster at the brewpub. Looks solid; a transparent gold with white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells of corn, oak, hops, and vanilla. Tastes like it smells with a mildly bitter medium-bodied mouthfeel. Decent, but would be better with less of a corn presence.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma is bourbon, barrel, wheat, corn, different. Appearance is golden, white head, clear. Taste is bourbon, barrel, light corn, light everything else really. Mouthfeel is medium body, light carbonation, bourbon and barrel aftertaste. Overall, itís better than regular solid gold but not by much.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of sweet grains and bourbon with a bit of a corn note underlying. Flavor has that combination of corn and bourbon with some sweet grains supporting.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
From tap at Founderís, light yellow amber color, no head whatsoever. Nose has vanilla whiskey, caramel. Body is light with very light carbonation, slightly sweet throughout, finish is whiskey and tons of vanilla. Better than I remember it being the first time. Itís definitely something different, and would only recommend to someone who enjoys whiskey.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the brewery. A bright very clear gold color. A bright white thin head. A very light hopped nutty aroma. Full hopped bitterness. Slight strength. Not very flavorful surprisingly. Itís decent. Maybe a too hard of an attempt.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Look at it this way: a PBR with a shot of whiskey is the poor manís version of this delicious beer.
Thin lacing with a clear, straw colored body.
Smells of sweet liquor, bread.
The bourbon sweetness dominates, but notes of hops and toast nicely compliment the bourbon. Thin mouthfeel, but the complex flavors make up for it. I hope they bottle this someday.

3.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at Paradiso Dupont. Clear very pale yellow color, white head. Aroma of nicely floral lemon. Taste is boozy hard liquor, the kind you drink out of a paper bag. Or so Iíve heard.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draft Sample @ Brewvival 2014. Amber pour with a modest white head. Very boozy, aggressive nose. Wood and toffee. The flavorís pretty unique. Booze-steeped poppyseed cake. Rum raisin. Toffee and a bit of vanilla. Full and rich. Sort of all over the place.
