COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The coffee lover’s consummate beer. Brewed with an abundance of flaked oats, bitter and imported chocolates and two types of coffee, this stout has an intense fresh-roasted java nose topped with a frothy, cinnamon-colored head that goes forever.

Poured 12oz into a snifter. Aroma is earthy, with notes of toast, and coffee...yum! Appearance is beautiful, black with a thin brown head. Taste is so well balanced....notes of bitter chocolate, coffee, and sweet chocolate malt and creamy. This is incredible! Palate is heavy body, thick and creamy with mild carbonation. Very drinkable for the abv. Overall, this is one of the best beers I have had.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a Founders snifter. (4 Pack) A: Pours a jet black with a half finger tan head that disappears yet leaves lacing. S: Coffee, dark chocolate, and plenty of roastiness. T: Espresso up front with bitter chocolate and roasted malts in the middle and sweet chocolate and more coffee on the finish. M: Heavy body with medium carbonation, feels almost as if it is cloying. D: It’s an imperial stout, but not as heavy as some other 10%+ abv monsters are, so easy drinking for what it is.

Bottle. What a wonderful beer. I won’t give it a perfect score just in case this isn’t the best beer in the world, but it’s the best I’ve had.

Poured into a mug. Appearance is black as black can be. Head is brown and stays on top of the beer for a good long while. Aroma is of bitter chocolate, coffee, and licorice. Taste is slightly bitter with a focus on the coffee. This is a very good beer from a very good brewer. I congratulate whomever it was that came up with this brew.

This is an absolutely amazing stout it has hints of cinnamon and chocolate and has enough bitterness to give it the beautiful roasted coffee flavor. Great STOUT

12oz bottle thanks to polomagnifico. Pours black with a brown head. Nose is roasty, coffee and caramel. Taste is nice bitter coffee, roasted malts, touch of sweetness and chocolate flavors as well. Nice balance between bitter and sweet flavors. Great beer.

Nice beer for when I get home from the graveyard shift each morning. Thick and chewy, the flavor is more creamy than most stouts. Smooth.

Everything a stout should be and then some. I love the chocolatey coffee flavors, If you haven’t tried this delicious beer and you’re not scared of "dark beers", go get a 4-pack.

UPDATED: DEC 8, 2014 Pours a thick black with tan head. Aroma is freshly brewed coffee with sweetness. Taste is a perfect melding of fresh coffee and unsweetened chocolate. Bitter malt finish as well as some decent hop presence on the tail end. Lingering flavor. Full bodied. Excellent. Cellar 1-3 months
